i heard that as of next year they are scrapping the round 13 cooling off period and it will only be ten days from the point the contract is signed
does anyone know if it is true? I hope it is, i hate the way it is now

I would have rather seen Manly keep Foran over DCE, but loosing both would have been a killer blow so glad to see DCE has stayed on at least.

$10,000,000.00 over 6 years is a bit much. He's a good 1/2 back but not worth that amount. I would of preferred Foran for that sort of money.

Agreed. Foran's style of play is a throwback to the 5/8's of yesteryear. He runs hard to the line and puts players through holes. He is as tough as they come, he cops some brutal knocks. For mine DCE's integrity has really slipped, not a fan of what has transpired.

Getting back to Foran's style of play I think this is why Blake Austin has been so successful this year. He plays what he sees and runs hard at the line. So many halves play a structured game these days

Stuart / Canberra issued for a 20k breach notice by NRL for press conference walk out after loss to Brisbane. Apparently it is the biggest ever issued.

What a joke, the admin in this game have no idea

So they fine him for walking out but if he stayed he would of said something nd they would of fined him...he can't win either way

There is appropriate channels to submit your dissatisfaction with the refereeing performance.

Stuart has a history of doing it in press conferences, good on the nrl for making an example of him and his childish behaviour on the weekend.

He does have a poor history but in this instance i think he did the right thing by walking out prior to saying something damming. The refereeing has been horrible all year and he had obviously had enough. Perhaps having the fine issued in a suspended format would have been more appropriate
