NRL Predictor information required

I'm wanting to know what year the NRL premiership predictor or predictor cards began. I'm assuming it to be 2004???
Also were there any years since they first started that they weren't made?
I collect Raiders cards only and am now starting to buy the predictor cards, so if anyone is selling any I may be interested.

Predictors commenced in 2004 in and continued each year until 2012 when Select stopped producing NRL cards.

The only exceptions to the above were in 08 Centenary where the predictors were limited to 4 (2 per case) and reflected the foundation clubs. These were redeemable for the Ptemiership winning captain signature card (Orford / Manly) and mini premiership set.

In 2010 there was no series 2 Select so no predictors.

TLA commenced predictors in 2017. The first year there was only a set for the premiers (Storm) however last year and this year cover all teams.

Brendan - Thanks for your detailed reply. I would assume then there would be 9 years total that would include the Raiders premiership predictor card? I currently have 2004, 2005 and 2006, so will be on the hunt for 07, 09, 11, 12, 18 and 19.
I have all the Raiders cards from 82, but not the high end signature cards or multiple-colour black, ruby etc. I even have the stickers from 83-85 when no cards were produced.........the 12 stickers for the 85 set are very rare but I was lucky enough to score them. I have all the other insert cards over all years, so it's time to try and get all the premiership predictor cards.

07 Invincible was the Enforcer (Weyman)
09 Classic was the Top Try Scorer (Croker)
11 Strike was the Top Try Scorer (Ferguson)
12 Dynasty was the Top Try Scorer (Croker /Robinson)

18 Traders was a team photo /50 and unsure what 19 Traders will be.

It sounds like you have the start of a solid collection. Some of the higher end Select cards are quite rare now.
