NRL Micros seem to follow the AFL set the year after with the super rares. ie they did Brownlow Medal winners the year before we had the Dally M Winners. Last year they did Gold Norm Smith Medalists ( player of the grand final ) & now we have the Gold Churchill Medalists (Player of the grand final).
That being said, the AFL have gold 300 game players this year, so would assume we will get the same next season....

Parker and Smith are the only ones who will probably be in the NRL next year. Watmough's probably retiring, Slater probably won't end up making 300 now and I'm not sure who else is close.

Not sure if you have noticed, however they are smart with what they do with re using old players so they dont have to re sculpt a new figure. They reuse figures all the time.
All the away figures were simply the same figures from previous season re hashed in a different jersey. They can resuse the mould for the heads without the cost of new ones.
That being said, if they go with four super rare next year, tey could do Watmough, Parker, Smith & Anthony Minichello. All have had figures they can re use & all have 300 games +. They AFL set this year has 2 retired players in it, so they wont let that stop them.
Would be great to see a 300 game Lockyer, Lamd, Menzies, Fittler, Hindmarsh etc etc. Dont like our chances though.....
I've been bothered. Looks like you have to post to Instagram with the #nrlmicros hashtag with every entry. Entered 5 times, John Sutton liked 4 of my photos.
If you have Chrome Autofill, the form fills about 80% of itself with your info with a single click.
Ie dragons, raiders, Sharks, Eels with cherry evans & boyd gold in one box, Storm, Broncos, Tigers, Warriors with Stewart & Cronk gold in another etc etc.

Are these the Footy Mates they've advertised on the checklists?
If they're regular figures, I don't think there will be anything that isn't/won't already a common and I've already got a QLD Inglis so I'll probably give them a miss.
I looked into it and these are more than likely the Footy Mates. They're larger Micro-figure shaped players that say phrases in the player's voice. I might pick up an Inglis if they do him.
Looks like they're going to be about $6 each or so
