Hi everyone, ive finished collecting all of the Daily Telegraph cards, but I was wondering why there are some players in foil cards?. Is it possible to get all the common cards in foil?. If so how would you go about doing this?

You can get all in foil. Takes 5 packs a day and plenty of luck. You may notice a few threads where ppl are trading for a complete foil set.

There is a parallel silver set. Each pack has 2 or 3 silver common cards in it.

There is 5 possible pack combination each day that a pack is released. In order to collect a full set of siver cards you have to successfully purchase the 5 different pack combinations each day of the promotion. I have done it each day of the promotion and I still need about 20 silver cards. My outlay has been over $150. I have been fortunate enough to find a newsagent that doesn't make me purchase 5 papers everyday. If I had to do that, the set would have costed about $250.

When you consider that silver commons starting price on ebay is $1 and are selling for up to $4 each, this set should be valued at over $240.

Oh ok so if i purchase 5 packs evryday would i be guranteed to end up with all commons in silver??

No guarantee. You may get the same pack twice. ie there are set number of foils in each pack and you can't tell which it is until you open it
