NRL Auckland Nines 2014

Hey all, don't think there is already a thread about this, but I was just wondering what everybody's thoughts on the Auckland Nine's Tournament next year?
As I live in Auckland I'm thinking of taking my Dad there as a birthday present.
It sounds like a great weekend to me.

I used to enjoy the Sevens back in the day. Will be interested to see how this competition goes. I will definitely be watching.

pretty sure fox have the rights for it. but either way keen as i have fox, i wouldnt mind going over for it either, but but not too sure because i cant see everyone playing the stars, no matter how much $$$ are on offer.

Sharks annonced their team... Carney and Gallon!! That's awesome!! Knights team seems pretty good too.... Would be nice to see a few other strong players in teams too!!

Best team announced so far... I like that Gallen is playing....... Not sure many other teams would let their best player out on the field.... I dread hearing about the cowboys team!! Lol.

I kinda wish gallen wasnt playing, im sure he wants to play, but he overplays his hand the majority of the time and he gets the ball on the last tackle and just general stupid shit, dont get me wrong toughest bloke going but i dont think this type of footy suits him and they shouldve given him a rest. Lichha carney and graham are good picks though, and gardner they should definitely go okay, get some of their 600k that they need

The Knights have named a great almost full-strength side, I think they almost deserve to be favourites atm. I fly off next Friday, can't wait!!!
