I know you said you're 100% sure........ but there are multiple parts of your post that are incorrect!

Wonder how they arrived at that standard $15K pricing....surely they know #001 would be a lot more desirable than the other 4.

This seems like a lot of speculation without any real confirmation, personally I would be EXTREMELY surprised if they just sold 5 individual sets of cards, I could see them doing something like dealer incentives in that if they purchase 50 or 100 cases or some other ridiculous number that they would get an Archive set with everything in it, maybe not numbered or numbered slightly differently, however to just sell them straight up would be very strange and I think would put a lot of collectors off - with a lot of people sitting on the fence on this release, myself included, it would absolutely shock me.

Having 5 super rare redemption cards that redeem the entire set in a folder, that wouldn't surprise me. Hell even 18 cards - i.e. 1 per team that redeems the entire team set or 5 per team, something like that wouldn't surprise me and would be a lot more likely than selling a single set for 15k.

At least that's in my opinion.

While I enjoy reading some of the rumours and ideas floating around, I'd just like to clarify one of the main errors in the latest posts as I feel it's an important one to clear up -

No cards will be taken out of the main production run to construct any Master Set. Serial numbered cards and specifically the low numbered ones are some of the most highly sought after cards in a release and should always be available for collectors to hit in a pack/box/case bust. If ESP were to take out cards #1 - #5 from the release and offer them for sale separately the collecting community would be furious, and so they should be.

Now unique numbering for a master set like stormernumber1 suggested in his previous post, say something like MS1 - MS5 infront of the card numbers, well that sounds a lot more plausible.

Thanks for the clarification Michael! Well put!

If there is a bit of feedback you can give to ESP my only comment is this, while everyone is talking about how good the Select product is in AFL through the advanced images of cards and info given to collectors, we are here guessing over what may or may not happen rather than discussing a couple of preview images that could be helping boost the profile of the product.

I'm sure its going to be a fantastic release, my feeling is that they need to promote their products a lot earlier and a lot better to help create a buzz around the product.

They dont have to give everything away, but surely some images now (especially around one of the biggest NRL games of the year Origin 2) would certainly help the product buzz and in turn help you sell more of it!

This just in from ESP/TLA ...

NRL Elite 2016 is in final production, the release will be the best yet!

We hear that the rumour mill is in full swing, we love the passion guys so keep it up! You can expect to see detailed information on the release the first week in July, but let’s get the election of the way first.

There is plenty to look forward to in this release including 36 Signature cards to collect, two different Mojo sets and four different 1/1 cards, a first for NRL Cards. We have complete redesigned the common cards incorporation a more vintage look and feel across the base card set, finally watch out for the bonus box cards!!

As an exclusive to OZ Card members we have included below an image of the Broncos 1/1 card with its Gold Plated Metal Frame, a great looking card and a joint venture between TLA and Futera Trading Cards, this won’t be in pack but the corresponding Redemption card will be. More on this latter, keep an eye on the TLA World Wide and www.Realmemorabilia.com.au website for the release of signing season photos.

We hope you enjoy this release, it was a logistical challenge putting it together.

I think this is how a patch card like that should be done.

The Oates card is a very busy looking card and should be more like this where the main focus of the card is the patch.

Would be nice if you could imagine the Broncos patch instead and a playing image of Oates down the side instead of Tim Duncan.
