Not quite card related, but a big mailday...

Jimboomba is about 20 mins south of Browns Plains in Brisbane. Its about 1 1/4 hr from the Brisbane CBD. Closer to Beaudesert. Yes, its the sticks but its a nice big block, and very very quiet and peaceful. Although they have major residential plans for it in the next 5-10 years so we'll see.

Can't Fly - Yep. Cards on hold for about 30 years :) (Hopes not)

Mark.

nice work=D> =D> =D>

what street did you buy in??? i own 2 blocks in jimboomba(both are on poincianna drive) 1 block is just over 4000m2 and the other is just over 1400m2................very nice and peacefull out there and not that far from anything.

i will be building my dream house within the next 2 years....................

we will have to set up a basketball/trading centre in flagstone somewhere:p

Hey Spree Fan.

That's cool! If we needed to trade we'd save on postage :)

It's on Tuckeroo St, which is just off Elderberry. You on the school side of Homestead? We're on the other side...You there now or living elsewhere?

We *almost* bought land (off Red Cedar) but realized we couldn't build and rent at the same time.

Have to get a meet up when I get the memorabilia room set up :) (And the entertaining area!)

haha , saving on postage is always good:)

i think i now where you are, you must be in a newer part, we got our block's about 18 months ago.........very cheap too=D> =D> =D>

we are still in canberra, but will move up there within the next 2 years.........we already have our builder, plans and fixtures picked out:D

definately will need to meet up, how much did you end up pay for the house???(if you don't mind me asking) we don't keep a close eye on the market up there but am always interested in hearing how it is going, as we will sell the smaller block sooner or later.
we have family that live in beaudesert, bundaberg and tambourine mountain so they keep us farely well informed.

it is tuff to buy and rent at the same time, it will usually involve moving in with the in-laws:shock:

Thanks guys.
Not FT unfortunately. It's hard enough getting my wife to let me trade cards, let alone our first and only house :)

Thanks!
Mark.

Hate to see the PSA slabs for that one!!!

Great stuff, great feeling huh, buying a house.

We almost went for something like that in a new development area, but they wanted more than we could afford.
