Not Factory Sealed?

I bought a whole bunch of boxes from DACW that arrived this morning. However I am a little suspicious of this box of 02/03 SP Authentic. The front seems to have the Upper Deck logos on the seal, but the back and sides do not. Also the seals on most boxes seem to have the "rip" (a sort of rigid line) around the sides of the box. This doesn't seem to be the case here.

What do you guys think?

Hmmm what about the bottom left hand side of the front of the box. I've never seen a box factory sealed like that.

I also got a couple of boxes of 02/03 Fleer Platinum, a box of 95/96 Finest, a box of 04/05 Hoops and a box of 05/06 UD. I'll bust them open Monday night.

have you emailed them about it??

they are a very reputable sller, so i'd find it hard to believe that it would be dodgy?!? you never really know but?!?

so you're gonna sit there and stare at these other boxes all weekend?? are you crazy :D

I would contact DACW if you are unsure about it, and email them the pics. No use opening it then complaining after the fact.

On another note, what series 95/96 Finest did you get ?

i've never any doubt about boxes from DACW or any other reputable dealers.
most of old UD products dont have too many UD logos on the wrapper, and the seal a bit loose.
when i bought my first UD Legends box from DACW, the box was a bit damaged around the corner, but i pulled very good cards.

About UD logos. From my experience, the more recent boxes, there are plenty of UD Logos throughout the wrap, both horizontal and vertical, but there are some boxes with less logs, but the wrap looks exactly the same. These were boxes sent from Canada. May be there is a difference or maybe the wrap used was at the one end of the production roll of the wrap.

About the older boxes, I do not believe they have as many UD logos on the wrap. Also soem of the older boxes the wrap is not sealed in the same way, There sometimes is an overlapping seal at the bottom of the box.

If you have any concerns, you should contact DACW and/or UD. But as everyone has said, DACW is very reputable, though they do buy a lot of secondary market boxes and on sell them.

That one looks to have the overlapping bit at the bottom of the box. Looks completely fine to me from my experience with 02-03 UD MVP boxes. You shouldn't have a problem there.
