North Queensland Solar Eclipse

Was an early morning rise to catch this. It's been overcast and raining the last two days in Cairns and things were still looking grim this morning. For the first half hour a massive dark patch of cloud kept hanging over the sun, taunting us with the clear sky either side of it.

Luckily it cleared up, giving us a clear view of the totality at 6:38am

Id be stokedto have taken those pics they look very proffesional u should contact ur newspaper there they usually use peoples photos in the paper the next day
