No Ben Simmons Auto's for Panini cards???

I see Simmons signed with UD after not seeing any Auto's in the first few releases so far,
It is terrible, no NT RPA, or any for that mater, Look out non Auto Logoman$$$$.

The whole situation blows, when does Panini's NBA license run out and will we ever have
a run of sets with all players signing???

And does anyone have any article recommendations or links as of the story behind Panini jacking the rights initially for there card signing/NBA uniform agreement, God it must of cost some serious beans.

The worst thing is in the Prizm and court kings there is not even Jersey cards. Like every Australian I was looking to PC him but changing my mind rapidly. Such a crap situation for the collectors.

I think the card license is up next year and Upper Deck have placed a bid. I'm not sure what will happen.

But even if UD comes back, you will still have exclusives where a rookie will sign with either UD or Panini. Kobe will stay with Panini.

Either way, I'd like to see exclusives all gone and all card companies back in, Panini are boring me.

The exact same photos across 3 different series eg KD so far is quite disapointing to say the least. How hard would it be to have a different pic for each sub brand.

Yep so many years of Lebron Auto's in uniform missed, How will UD's offer compare to Panini's?
Panini over the last 5 years or so must of made so much money its not funny, there profit margins and new releases
just go up each year.

Surely no one could compete with Panini, unfortunately. There grip on the market gets stronger each year.

I'm hoping Upper Deck comes back into the hobby, but Panini stays as well.

They'll both bring something different to the table.

There was a set back in 2007 called 'The LeBrons', with different LeBron clothing cards, I.e Kid LeBron and All Business LeBron.

In 2007, I started collecting AFL cards.

24th June it was announced that he signed the exclusive deal with UD, so the day after the draft.

Whether it be this, or Lillard with Leaf, it happens and not much we can do about it really.

I think we'd all like for the NBA to allow multiple licenses again. Maybe that's what UD pitched to them as they have arguably the 3 biggest names in the game.

Yes I remember those. They were based off of the commercials about the Lebrons. They were pretty funny, you can watch them on youtube.

So the checklist is out for TC 16-17 and confirms my suspicion that not only is there no Auto's but definitely no jerseys or Patches. The situation is destroying my enthusiasm for the hobby somewhat. Surely common sense should prevail and at least allow Jerseys and Patches like they do for Lebron. I bought the Philly spot in the WOC court kings break and once I saw the checklist I had some severe buyers remorse. The TC will be exactly the same with only Base and Base variants except he is featured in the super short printed "the Mighty" set which is at least something I guess. Now shifting my focus back onto my Jimmy Butler PC, I really liked the idea of a top shelf Aussie to collect but not to be. By the time the dust settles and maybe UD gets its NBA licence back there will be no RPA's of potentially the next great player. Hearing how highly Lebron and Co speak of Ben there is a possibility he will be a future HOFer which makes the situation even more disappointing.

Perhaps this is Paninis way of trying to convince us all that they only use game used material in their cards now..... no games = no mem

He's also listed down the very bottom of the rookies by number it goes 2-45 then him. Paninis way of showing how they really feel. Listing everyone in order but throwing him in at the bottom haha
