My brother and his daughter just popped around so she could say goodbye before she flies to Canberra tomorrow, then the US for a few weeks. She's only turning 15, so she got picked in their "Developmental squad", but after 1 of the actual AIS team members dropped out, they called her yesterday to get her ass to Canberra. She's already doing another camp in the US in Dec/jan with girls her own age group, so now she's got an early mark to head over with the big girls. Should be a great experience hopefully, and it's also the first time she's left Australia.
