Thought this would b a good idea to see who is nice in the NRL
Mine would have to b
Preston Campbell- Always happy, Stays and signs while most other try to get away and always doin charaty stuff. I had alot (7) of Preston Campbell (is that 2 much to give to a player) cards he signed them all and always was chatty and happy.
I would never sell my IP Autos they prob my fav cards.
(I have some for sale but they r ones i brought from ebay would never sell my IPs i got myself)
What about u do u sell the Autos u get yourself

I do the same asyou, never sell my own hand signed cards.

Best Players
Hunt- Got 9 cards signed but him and my Brisbane hat. He was also very nice to talk with
Hindmarsh- Always laughs and chats
Finch- Funny guy to chat with. Always laughs at the cards I give him
Fittler- Very nice man.
Bowen- DA BEST!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D
Inu- Nice guy
Slater- Now this guy is VERY nice!
C.Smith- Nice guy

Worst Players
Hayne- Always grumpy

They were like unhappy signing tried to get away early even thought it was a open training session

hahaha david mead
i used to play against that dude in rugby union around my local area

very fast, and yeh he is pretty nice bloke

Most of the Parra plyers since Osbourne took over. Especially Inu, Mortimer, Lowrie.
Cayless is a bit hot and cold. Fui always seems overwhelmed as does at times Hayne.

Forgot Mick Cronin. The nicest ever. Real gentleman.

Ethan's dad

Biggest DH. Mark Geyer when he played. Not sure what he is like now.

Alan Tongue is an absolute champion. He stayed back with a bleeding broken nose after a game once and made sure he signed everybody's stuff before going to the hospital

Troy Thompson is a great bloke too. Quite often gives me his free drink vouchers at the post game functions

David Shillington, Josh Miller, Adam Mogg, Matt Elliott... TBH I have never met a bad Raiders player.

From other teams Preston Campbell, Wally Lewis, David Peachy, Fatty and Sterlo were all great.

Benji Marshall was the complete opposite, he snubbed everybody and went and sat on the bus while the rest of the Tigers were signing stuff

david peachey by far. he signs everything, talks to everyone and will even have a beer with u. the other is the late steve rogers who i used to drink with occasionally at sharkies leagues

worst by far would be cam smithwho would not sign a card for my son who had waited for him for ages

i dont no y some players arent nice without us fans who would they b No1
If i ever made NRL i would b happy to sign and talk to the ppl

Me too but I guess you could get sick of signing auto after auto, and knowing 50% are just gunna sell it.

And have you guys noticed the older the player, the shorter the signature.

Hahaha. Just look at Hindmarsh or Lockeyrs signature now and back when they just started.

And then think of new players, much like Winterstein. Thats sig is LONG!

Can't say I would ever stand in line to get an autograph of a sports star except maybe a couple of HOF'ers just to tell them how good they were and to give them a break from signing :D

As for nice NRL players, For a period in my life quite some time ago  I got the chance to hang out a few times with Ricky Stewart and Laurie Daley from the Raiders back in 1990 i think it was !?

I remember being surprised at how Wide Daley's upper body was ( A Tank) a bit more social and Stewart was more low key but still friendly and happy to chat :) It was back in the days when baggy jeans and untucked shirts were in fashion... the ladies loved that style  the bouncers were in the process of throwing a few of us out because of our untucked shirts and from memory Ricky Stewart told the bouncers to leave us alone and they did.... thanks Ricky :)

Funny Story about Ben Hornby

A mate and I were at a pub having a few beers after a dragons game at win stadium. We had both had a bit of money on him to be first try scorer, which didnt get up.

Hornby turned up and my mate being a massive dragons supporter had a bit of a yarn with him. He was a real nice bloke too. When he found out we both had money on him to score first he said, "Sorry I didnt get it for you boys, what are youse drinking". He then bought us a beer each. What a champion.

Ryan Girdler and brad fittler are both champion blokes too meet as well.

Adrian Morley and Finch both great as well.
