I sat through the whole game in shock because of our loss but also those cyclonic conditions, the goal posts were swaying from side to side. Nic Naitanui and the rest of his team were exciting to watch unlike the Hawks, they were hard at the footy and the athleticism Naitanui has for his height is amazing. His 2nd and 3rd efforts on the ball was good to watch and It was great to see the Eagles come in and back him up when he was copping a touch up from the Hawks. Will we see Woosha experiment with Naitanui when Cox returns?

This kid could do some damage at Full or Half Forward swapping with Cox.:v:

yeh your right Maso, he did play well and so did the eagles. It was a great risk in playing Natanui in the ruck in only his second game, and the forgotten one Lynchy, hats off to you buddy, he played as well as he ever has with an extra responsibility!!!!! When Coxy comes back i bet Natanui and Lynch will ruck for most of the game (coxy's first game to rest him up) while Coxy sits in a Half Forward and moves to Full Forward eventually. I doubt Woosh will play Natanui as a key forward (CHF and FF) because even Nic admits that his set shots are crap and there is room for improvement for him.

It was god damn funny when Campbell Brown came to him and Natanui was smashing him!!!!! He went up to browny and pounched forward and scared the crap out of him! Hats off!!!

but his last quarter effort did heavily influence the result of the game.
He wasn't having the best of nights, but in your 2nd game that is expected!
To do what he did the last qtr, turned the game, the crowd/atmosphere and the result completely!

How crap were Hawks though really? Eagles played okay in the wet conditions, The shredder was very quiet until the last quarter I expect him to have a few bad games now which is fine, he is still very raw. Give him time people, there is already too much pressure on the kid. But hey was exciting to watch. can the Eagles beat Melbourne this week?
