Hey all,
Luke here new to the forum, was a keen collector of NRL & AFL cards from 2007-2011 and then sold my collection due to uni studio fees etc: starting from now im back into it and wanting to start from scratch kicked off with the 2013 nrl collections.

Im from the goldcoast and yeah friendly always up for a chat guess ill see you all around the forums

I'm a titans supporter in league and a calling wood supporter in afl. So does the trades etc work on this site is it all done through trust etc:

Nice im in a house full of pies supporters so there like a second team to me now there travelling pretty well iv got heaps of collingwood cards to sell/trade as my mates selling her whole collection if ur interested

Yeah trades are pretty much trust i mean if you buy pay via paypal then you have protection or opt for registered then you can be sure if you dont trust easily but most members on here are pretty trustworthy if you have any questions about anything the members would be happy to help as its not just a forum to trade/sell you have a lot of lengthy convos and make some good mates

Sounds good mate it seems pretty trustworthy etc nice set up here, ohh really yeah I've mainly collected Nrl cards but this year venturing into afl cards as well haven't bought a pack of afl this year yet though, was planning to this weekend but apparently the shop at Carrara markets is gone so might have to suss out eBay

I cant do a packet i have to get like 6-12 or i have to buy boxes haha

Where you looking at buying teamcoach or select champions champions isnt the best series ever but if you save your money series 2 will have signatures and probably look much better then champions well worth the cash

Welcome to the forums luke, great to see another titans supporter, I also live on the gold coast and support the titans,

What sort of collection are you going for? A bit of everything, or a titans collection, certain players?

Yeah im considering waiting for the top end series 2 at the end of the year (if there is a second series this year they still do that right?)


And troy ive got my hands on the base set of 2013 traders, would like to finish of the retirement insert set only have 3 so far then who knows haha just a starting goal for now and build up from there. I would like to get the titans parralell set and frame them as i used to in previous years for sure though.

Also bought myself 10 packs of nrl powerplays something differant bit of fun will try and finish the base set of this and maybe get the titans mascot etc: i got a few glow in the dark logo cards they seem pretty cool.

well guess ill just try and finish of my retirement set for 2013 traders and finish of my powerplay set then get some spare titans sets to frame and save the $$ for the second series of AFL.

Although ill most likely atleast try and get the base set of afl champions lol or atleast the collingwood cards haha
