New to the game...

Hi Guys,

My name is Nathan and i am getting into the card collecting game. I've been a massive basketball fan for such a long time and have always wanted to collect cards. I stumbled across this site and fell in love with it. I finally thought it was time to create an account and start posting. Just reading this site has already helped me learn so much, i thought it was only right to sign up for a premium membership.

So far i have just been buying some cheaper cards off eBay just to get a feel for it. I would love some advice from you guys on how to get started and things i should know.


Looking forward to becoming an active member on the forum.

I'm also a Laker fan (watching them play Golden State as we speak). A massive Iverson too!

Thanks guys. I am going to collect any Iverson stuff i can get my hands on!
But i am thinking of waiting until next season untill the 2013-14 cards come out, then choose one to collect. I will defiantly get much more excitement out of opening a case of something i like, then just forking out the money for individual cards.

Around about that time do next seasons cards start coming out? Start of the new NBA season?
