New to collecting

Hey guys and girls, My name is Kylie, from Brisbane...I just started collecting trading cards late last yr, my first collection set was Select Champions NRL set....so I am looking for somewhere to trade cards as i am in need of some base cards to complete my set...and its much more fun to swap/trade rather than buy off ebay as i have heaps of doubles to trade...I also am getting a full Base set of 2012 AFL Champions but in need of the original red folder/album to store these cards in. If anyone knows of somewhere cheap that still has them that would be great or anyone has a spare one they dont want anymore...
I'm not too sure how any of this works so if anyone can take the time to explain how u put up ur wish lists or how do u trade with someone ie. do u both just post at the same time? Do u trust everyone on here to do the right thing?
Very interested in going to stalls/markets/shows where can buy or trade, swap meet days would be good too..
The sports I am interested in are NRL, AFL, BASEBALL, NFL, NBA but I am looking at collecting any and every collection I can get my hands on :-)

Welcome to OCT Kylie, there are heaps of members on here so I'm sure we will be able to help you out.

Just find the right Forums and post your wants in a new thread and people will read and hopefully help. I didn't collect the Champions release from last year so can't give you a start but I'm sure many will.

Hi kylie, welcome to the forum I have an massive collection of NRL cards from the early days to the present. If I can help in any way with your questions let me know. To list your wants and trades go to threads you you need to list them in and create a new thread. For E.G if you want to list wants in nrl go to the wanted nrl thread. Under the search box {top right} you will see new thread under it click that and a page will open and you can create your want list thread.

hi kyle, new on here but been collecting nba cards on and off for over 20 years, still trying to find anyone selling nba cards or box sets
