I have been given a bunch of about 80-90 basketball cards from different years.

Just wondering if they are worth anything, but i have no idea on where to start looking or what year or set they are from as there is about 10-12 different designs.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

So far, you're at about $2...

If you look your cards up to see if theyre for sale on comc.com, then half it (cos most sellers accept half price offers) you'll be around the mark.

If youve come into the hobby to make a profit, I'll give u the early tip, buy a lotto ticket;)

If you love to collect and pulling a big hit from time to time, after normally spending more than the card is worth in packs/boxes, welcome:) join the club.

Just so you're sure - what Coopz said above is spot on.

You don't really have much in terms of card value but there are some nice designs to look at. If you're not sure just have a look at completed ebay listings to get an idea of what they're worth. Normally the key things to whack into a search are the Product (Select, Totally Certified, Prestige etc), the year / season (2014-15 etc), the subset (Hardcourt Heroes, Prestigious Pros etc) and any numbering ( /99 etc). If any of those are worth anything then you need to look up the player and scale value accordingly.

comc.com is also a good starting point to check for current sale values for cards like this - you just need to know the set and release year, which is normally shown on the card
