O.k. I was so pissed today that I managed to string this together as a reply for one US eBay seller with the typical whining response for overseas postage complaining about the cost of gas for his car and his valuable time spent waiting in line at his P.O. as well as that customs form which is such an effort isn't it
So feel free to send this to every US seller that gives you crap! But maybe we would all be better off doing this ](*,)

I'm sorry to hear that, but that's what everyone does if they want to get maximum dollars for their items. $8.00 is ridiculous for shipping when it only costs 0.84 cents for USPS Airmail to Australia.
You cannot pass on your costs to the buyer for any of those things, don't be so silly. It's stated in eBay's rules and regs. You can only pass on fees for things like cashing a cheque (from the bank fees) or currency conversion, which is all done through paypal anyway.
Why should I pay for your gas and your time? It's part of selling things on eBay. Why don't I have a bid on your card and you can pay ME for my time I had to spend on the internet and my ISP fees for the time I have used to find your card? Same thing isn't it.
C'mon think before you write stuff like that, it's pure crap. Be a leader, not a follower, or rip off for that fact.
Maybe my comments will make you think about what you just stated and and how ludicrous it is. When you have an attitude like that, your items won't sell, or they'll sell really, really cheap, just like this one is about to now.
Sorry I couldn't bid on your card and help get you some more money. Hope you can learn from your mistakes,
Thanks.
 =D>

Kinda feel sorry for the guy now that he copped that from a build up of all the other sellers giving me shit......nah, not really

The card was a Ricky D Gold refractor too, for my man Metallica, sorry mate.

l won a green rc exquisite auto /225 a while ago from a US seller. He charged me US$20 for ship and it only cost him $5.95 to ship.
Tired to work it out with him and he didnt want to listin, so l just left a negative. He opened a case with ebay resloutions and offered me a $2.50 refund. The case cost him $15 to open, so not only did he lose on what he made off me in shipping but he still has his negative.

Haha nice work fight those dodgey american sellers! Its funny that when u pay that amount of postage the card usualy comes in a white envelope with a 87c stamp on it just to royaly piss you off. On a more posative note a US seller charged me $2 for postage the other week i almost fell off my chair when i saw that, i dont think i had ever been charged the actual cost

It's f-ckin pathetic isnt it!

If they're gonna sell cards they should take into account what is involved and start their auctions higher opening bid.

What a joke! Can't believe people are STILL trying to make money on what it costs to get to the PO.

So if I sold them a card, and they had to sign for it at the PO, who's gonna pay for them to pick the f-ckin' thing up????

That's a big "PFFFFT"!!!

this is unbelieable complaining for gas...
i can't believe they would charge crazy price for 0.84 cents plus bubble mailer at nonsense price..

lately, i don't feel to bid cards from US....
cards take ages and cost fortune.... :(

one thing i dont miss after stopping buying cards, wasting money on shipping and lining the pockets of US sellers.

I have been pretty lucky lately. I've picked up about 20 US baseball signed cards for a PC and haven't paid more then $3-$5 for shipping. I only bid when they list Postage to: Worldwide and if they list a price I always make sure its less than $5.

Oh, and I never get anything sent by Global Priority anymore. It's a rip off and there is no real protection in the envelope. I also go to repeat sellers who I know will charge postage in bulk lots (i.e 10 cards for $3, 20 cards for $4 ect...)

Mark.
