Nets Win 10 Staright!!!!

Yeah, Carter was amazing, but look at Jason Kidd. He started the season slowly, but has been turning on the heat lately in the assists and scoring category, today had 22 points and 15 assists with ZERO 00!!! turnovers, how many players in the L can do that??!!
He now has 14.4 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 8.1 apg and 2.03 spg averages, i want him in the all-star game, as a backup guard he should make it. Although many deserve it, he is the key reason that NJ is returning to their former form (when they made the finals 2x in 2 seasons)

I agree.. Kidd disappointed me heaps at the beginning of the season. He was playing more like a shooting guard than the point guard that he is. Now he's getting 10 dishes easily and Nets are winning basketball games.
I hope his autos go up in value soon!

I bet of those 15 assists 8-10 came from Vince's baskets. Not saying that Kidd ain't an awesome player and all that, but the Nets streak has been all about Vince, and very little to do with Kidd.

not entirely true bargey, but i'd agree about 50%. Carter has been the offensive unstoppable force and has been playing like his former version of himself. But Kidd has been the driving engine in running the complete offense including the emerging Richard Jefferson and Nenad Krstic, i won't disagree with Carters importance and i do believe that he is an independant player not needing great point guards to set him up, but from the entire teams perspective Kidd has been just as valuable to the success.
Can we have an award for Jimbo for the longest sentence ever on OzCards?

I disagree without being biased Bargey. While it's true that Carter's amazing play is the MAIN reason behind the Nets' streak, Kidd's assists have been going up BECAUSE he's actually passing now. Before, he tried taking it into his own hands and would score 30 every now and then.. he also took way too many shots. Now, he's getting 10+ assists per game for the Nets winning streak.
Im gonna make this bold statement:
Carter cannot win a game without Kidd.
