Need video editing software.

Anyone point me to a decent video/mpeg software where I can split a 1.3G video file into two 650MB files with decent quality???

All the ones I've found and used have limitations or are crap and don't work.

Can't you just use Windows Movie Maker? It should be part of your WinXP install....you do have XP don't you? What format is it, .avi, .mpg?
