Was a little bored and decided to scan all of my Treasury Mini Logoman 1/1's together.
Also I am wondering what everyone thinks about how I should case my Mini Logomen as there are no top loaders, magnetics, or screw downs specifically designed for them. They make holders for mini cards, but not for thick mini cards
So currently I have them in 80 pt Pro Mold Magnetics with white pieces of paper behind it. The problem that I have with this method are that the cards are pressed up against the holders and I am worried the fronts will start peeling/speckling. Some examples:
What I am thinking of doing is putting the cards on top of Rip Cards with the backs entirely peeled off. They could then go into 100 pt magnetics and the front would not be pressed against the magnetic. The card could also not move around because there are small indents in the rip cards that can safely hold the mini logomen.
Some examples:
The border around the Logoman obviously doesn't look as smooth as the plain paper. Here is what the back would look like:
But obviously not of Michael Redd. I would get the player on the rip card to match the player on the Logoman. So it would cost a little bit more money to use the rip cards to hold the Logomen but it's not that big of an issue.
Piece of paper on the back:
PROs:
Looks smoother and cleaner from the front
Card does not shake around at all
CONs:
Back is just white and sort of boring
Card may peel in the smaller magnetic
Rip card on the back:
PROs:
Has an indent to hold the card (makes it easier and neater to take in and out)
Sort of cool to have the player on the back to match the player on the front
Card will not peel
CONs:
Card may shake around a little but not a big deal
Will cost a little more money
Front looks less smooth (still some glue and a little bumpy)
