Need some opinions

Isnt he a member here? The one who collects melo? He could answer that for sure. Fleer bankcuptcy would be my guess. A lot 0405 set had fake logomans and numberings on it

Great looking card Norm but I am not sure the left hand side of the Wade logo looks completely straight or if the edge on the 4th picture looks right. Sort of looks like it has been split if you know what I mean. I am by no means an expert but it seems a little iffy

Yeah Norm, it's a gamble (IMO) not worth taking.

I have serious doubts it's legit. No numbering has the alarm bells ringing, and also, I think if it were a true 1/1, it'd have the obligatory Fleer 1/1 purple foiling around it.

Save your coins mate.

wouldnt go shooting at the member yet without knowing any back story. if he got it thinking it was real then found out it was fake and now is trying to get rid of it so be it. why should be stuck with a fake card and take the hit?

These areas look dodgy to me !

If they know it to be fake, they should destroy it. Selling it on as a legit card is just wrong. You're misleading someone else, and having them believe it to be real. Only for them to find out, and the seller's name will be mud.

Giving it away could also lead to someone else selling it.

During that period for fleer logomans were 1/1s

The white around those logomans is also common for that period on white jerseys (seen it in other fleer cards), so the patches may be real.

My guess is this is either a spare from the fleer bankrupcy or a fake someone made from patches bought at the fleer bankrucy.

so because you got screwed (meaning the seller) it makes it ok to screw someone else? so it's ok to sell a fake card? don't you think he should say what it really is in the auction if he knows?

Who's to say he was screwed. You aren't sure if it's fake. And I won't be listening to hairyangryfella because he thinks it's fake cos its white. Cobretti already said it was common and he is the fleer king. No one knows it's 100% fake. He should list it as bankruptcy that I agree but we are all just speculating with authenticity

Here is a real one that has white around the edge, which was part of the jersey.

The fake ones had a thick white boarder, like the shaq attached.

Here is a list of the "official auction listings"

http://www.auctionflex.com/showlots...amp;lso=timeleftasc&pagenum=1&lang=En

Remember a lot of stuff was sold before the auction via back door.

The only was we will know if the card is a fleer (unofficial release) is if we can find a legitimate 1/1 from this set to see what they had for their patch.

Personally I don't buy fleer bankrupcy stuff unless its cheap and I want to have it in my PC for pure fleer value of it.
