Broncos is definitely Langer and Lockyer.

Lewis is a legend of rugby league and our very first captain but he achieved very little at the club. Langer was a 4 time premiership winner as captain 96 dally m winner and Churchill medalist. And Lockyer I don't even need to make a case for.

Whilst i am very far from being a Broncos fan, i have to agree 100% with this.

Spina is the first cowboy, but I'm not convinced noteworthy as a cowboy. None of the first ones were. They were still wannabes who did nothing.

Paul Bowman and Josh Hannay hands down. Josh Hannay 150 games nearly 900 points?!

For Souths, def Churchill.

Mad as it sounds, Sattler is a legend...broken jaw and all.

BUT...Jack Rayner could be your second man. He was Churchill's captain. He captain-coached Souths between 1949-1957.

He captain-coached the team to six consecutive premiership deciders between 1950 and 1955, losing only in 1952.

Most premiership wins for a captain [5] (subsequently equalled by Saints Ken Kearney) and most premierships for a coach [5] (since equalled by Ken Kearney and Jack Gibson, and equalled then bettered by Wayne Bennett [6]).

He played for NSW and Australia.

194 games for Souths.

A rod-straight police officer, a true gentleman of the game...for mine Jack Rayner is in the top 2, for mine, at Souths.

Personal thoughts:

Broncos - Lockyer & Tallis (Though i understand Langer being in there)

Titans - Rogers & Campbell is right - It's a shame prince ended there on such a low note - for a number of years there everything fell apart whenever he was out and Rogers retired and was held so high though from the few yrs he played but prince was their best player from the start all the way through... haha I am expecting a Prince bagging but I've read a heap recently about Prince and everyone bagging him - I closely follow Broncos and Titans and I think had he had a better season we all would be holding him in high regard.

Tigers - Why not just move on from Balmain/Wests and go Marshall and Farah

Storm - Probably right for retired legends though I imagine Smith and Slater would soon take over their spots.

Cowboys - Paul Bowman definitely. Spina - no.... Retired - Matt Sing/Aaron Payne or if current included - Matty Bowen or Thurston.

I love footy... But I couldn't pick two players for another team.. I mean, I could, but I'd probably be wrong.... My own team I know in and out so it's not an issue to pick those...... Maybe the consensus should lie in individuals picking for their own team?

I shudder at the thought that payne could be picked over hannay.... Lol..
