Hey guys i've just been offered some nice cash on one of my MJ's on ebay and the potential buyer has requested an invoice through paypal as a sale off ebay.
Is there anything to worry about selling this way?
He's agree'd to express international postage with full insurance so have i covered all my bases?
I've never done a transaction like this before as a seller so any advise would be appreciated.
Sounds ok the only thing I can think of is if he describes the item as not as described throught PayPal dispute buyer protection (but that is always a possibility through buyer protection for any sale) but if you send in by a trackable method for paypal purposes such as registered you should be fine. Is the postal option you are using trackable for PayPal purposes? As I know ordianary Aust Post Express is not ok for pPayPal purposes but Express Post Paltinum is as its signature on delivery like registered.
No he just wants to do a deal off ebay as i have the card on ebay atm in auction format and he offered me a price i couldn't refuse. I guess i could change the auction to a BIN and have him buy it on ebay but then i'd get slugged over $100 on fees
dont do it!! if its not from ebay he can send you a piece of cardboard and as long as he can show he sent you something you cannot do anything to recover the money.. i bought dvds from a shop like this and they came really badly damaged and paypal said they couldnt do anything unless item was not recieved at all...

as long as you have proof you sent it your fine.. so tracking with insurance and youll be all good..
