Need help with my computer its driving me mad!!!!

Howdy all! So ive been youtubing a lot lately with no worries, then today it says i need a new browser and comes up with a choice of a few up the top. i chose google chrome, downloaded it, and apart from i think its ****, i have to open it from a seperate desktop window to be in the chrome browser, then youtube etc works but evrythings changed and i dont have toolbars etc to change my options and all of my favourites are gone!!!

So i tried downloading Internet explorer 8 and again nothing changed. ****ting me to tears i wouldve thought if i downloaded or updated my friggin browser that it would do it automatically or something but still everytime i go to youtube it says i need new browser and theres less options on the page!!! can anyone help me??? I cant even make chrome my home page, and i dont know why i need 2 icons on my desktop to open the damn net ( internet explorer and this google chrome shortcut)


So in short, youtube says i need a browser, i downloaded browser and nothings changed!!!!

But if i go in from chrome everything works but i have no toolbars , favourites or way to change options

oh dear.. Uninstall Chrome, why you installed it in the first place i'll never know. when you are in explorer next hit f11 that should bring back toolbars. Be aware if you have installed a newer version of explorer over an older one the default look has changed over the years

lol weeeeeell.......i actually first installed chrome to play angry birds pc ha ha!!!! ok so ill uninstall it. but when i load up my internet explorer like normal, everythings fine and my favs etc are their, its just when i go to youtube the options on the youtube page arent all their like they were yesterday as it says i need a new browser??? Know what i mean? so if i exit out to desktop and load up chrome, thats when youtube worked normal, but i had no toolbars, favs or options to change resolution etc!! I really dont like the chrome set up, i just want to know how to update the internet explorer im on!! Like i said i downloaded Internet Explorer 8 as well but that didnt do anything!! so confusing!!

thanks guys i did both....computer updated for a while..........aaaaaaand its still the same!!!! i dont get it! ive downloaded the updates etc they just dont seem to be updating???

I use mozilla firefox for most everything on the net these days. It works far better than IE and chrome, is safer and more reliable. Try that.

ive got a computer whizz mate thats goin to come sort it out im useless when it comes to PCs!! Thanks for your help too!! at the moment when i go on youtube, the vids come up with a message and if i click on the message it makes it better again!!! lol its a pain the ass having to do it every vid but its workin for now!! Sorta!!
