Need help finding a rental

Hi guys I have finally had enough of the S*^% that goes on where I live.3 days ago my 13 year old got attacked by 3 girl and was kicked in the stomach,back and head and I spent the next 7 1/2 hours in hospital waiting room,there was no permanent damage but she had a sore stomach for a few days.I am tired of listening to the blues going on in my neighbourhood every other night,sick of a*&^%$#@ kids throwing crap at my house and yelling abuse at my kids and because they are all under 15yrs old the cops hands are tied and there is nothing they can do but caution these little F'ers.My father should be taking possession of his uncle's house,inherited in his will,in Kippa Ring(Redcliffe QLD) in the next 2-3 months and myself and my 5 kids will be moving with him but after Friday night that is not soon enough,I want out now so I am hoping that someone on here may have a rental property in the Redcliffe area for rent,I am willing to pay up to $250/week and as you can tell I am desperate.Hope someone here can help.If no-one can help it looks like I will be moving into a caravan park in my tent for a few months.

Need a change badly have been trying to get out of this neighbourhood since I moved in but the competition for rentals is unbelievable these days and as an unemployed sole parent with 5 kids I am considered a rental risk,even when I have my rent automatically paid before I get my pension.

Well thats it I have had enough my 10year old twins got harrassed at the local shopping centre and couldnt leave and I got a phone call to come and get them while 2 woolies workers had to watch over there push bikes,so tomorrow I'm ringing the caravan park in redcliffe and booking myself and the kids in before I end up killing one of these idiots.So I am out of here in 2 weeks.Unfortunately I wont be trading for a few months,less if karma goes my Dads way with his uncles house,so a big thanks to all the great traders on here,I will still pop on every now and then to put my 2 bobs worth in on the forums when I go to an internet cafe.

Thanks guys for all the well wishes it has been one hell of a nightmare here as of late and thanks Howzat I didnt have those pop up when I did a search last week will definately be looking into those houses,may have to take a quick trip up next week if they are still available.Just sent an email to the agent fingers crossed.

Think I might take a drive up to Redcliffe tomorrow and do the rounds of the real estates and apply for a few houses,my Dad believes he should have his uncles house in a month but I dont think so as it is currently rented and when he gets it he is going to have to give the tenant notice and it could take 2 months for him to move.I believe from what I have been told that he would need 60days notice.

Well finally a bit of good luck my father rang his solicitor today to see how probate on his uncles will is going to find out that it is at the Brisbane court house registry and should be finalised by the end of next week,so my Dad should have his uncles house in his name by the middle of the following week and then its only a matter of waiting for the tenant to move out,who we know wants to move out as he is paying the $300+ p/w rent on his own,his best mate lives next door who Dad has been talking to and has had him give the tenant the heads up that he was going to be given notice when my father got the house.Fingers crossed we should be in the house within the month,no caravan park,no lost $$ on rent,but now I have to try and find a school for my step daughter to go to for a month as she cant go back to the casino high school due to all the crap that went on there with the girls that bashed my other daughter.

haha your neighbourhood sounds like mine.

All the kids who live here were fighting yesterday. From what I could tlel they where also picking on a black kid (most of them) and couple defending them.


There parents were just standing in their yards yeling ****ing ****s stop ****ing fighting. ****ing come back here now you ****ers.

The kids where also use the F-word like it was the only word in the english language.

Sad mate. **** thing is liek you said cannot do anything cause

1. under age
2. not your kids and they are not attacking my kids (as I have none). so if you do try to stop it their parents get all anal and ****ty with you and life jsut gets to be a pain for you from all the neighbours.

Yeah I can relate to that Cobretti I get to listen to blues and carrying on all the time in my neighbourhood,some nights till 3 or 4 in the morning with drunks running around threatening to bash everyone,we had 1 murder last yeah where the guy ran up the street with the bloody knife laughing his head off,home invasions are regular occurances,so I have a you'll be stick by the door and a 9 iron close at hand.Thank heavens I'll be out of here real soon.

Yeah I know Ross,but I have been a banana bender a few times before I'm just glad I bleed red and green mate,The old man should have the house in his name in the next couple of days so we are hoping the tenant will move out straight away.So it is now just a waiting game but I have decided if it looks like the tenant wont move out straight away to go for the caravan park for a few weeks.Fingers crossed.
