At last.... a Need For Speed I can enjoy again...

Only had this since Monday night, but have had a few go's already.

I'd say it's way better than Most Wanted, but plays the same as Underground/Underground 2.

There's a few new features which include the Rivalry System. Which instead of playing like in Most Wanted where you battle to the top of the Most Wanted List, you battle it out with certain Gangs across Town, where if you piss off a Leader enough, he/She'll challenge you to a race (or series of races). If you win, you get their "turf".

Havent gotten into too much of that yet, still getting the grips of what to do.

You have your own Crew as such, where you start out with 1 guy (a Blocker). There's 4 types of Crew Members, Blockers, Scouts, and another 2, (1 includes a Drifter where you get in their slip stream and shoot passed them). - I just can't think of the details.

You can race with either Manual or Auto cars (simple change in the Menu). But while driving an Auto, you can manually change Gears just by knocking the Right Stick up or down! It's a sweet invention in my opinion.

So far, I love the looks, and feel, much better than Most Wanted (I thought that title was rushed, and lacked initiative).

8/10 so far.

Here's to hoping it comes out for 360 soon. =D>

you got a HD TV scotty?

Most Wanted was preety bloody awesome on the HD when i played it but i perferred Burnout 2

IF you like GTA than you have to get Saints Row!!
and i got three sport games.

Yeah got the HD telly, and HD cables (not the REALLY HIGH Def ones tho).

Remember I'm talking Xbox, not 360... So my Most Wanted was pretty crappy compared to HD.

Live 07 is on Order, they changed their EA suppliers (now direct with EA), have to wait for it to come in.

UPDATE:

After finishing the first chapter of the game (took control of one city, and beat Kenji + I took his car!!).

Here's a little more on the game.

Basically, after you complete so many levels (races I mean), you will be challenged to a race with the "Boss".

First off, you have to beat him/her in a first race. If you do, you'll be taken to "The Canyon", and will have to race two races.

The first, you follow the "boss" down the hill. The closer you are to them on your way down, the more points you get.

The second, the "boss" follows you down the hill. The closer they are to you, the more points you LOSE.

If you fall off, or are overtaken, you fail (although if you are passed, you have about 5-8 seconds to get back in front).

This part of the game, is VERY much like The Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift movie.

I had to do this part of the game about 8 times in succession, JUST to try and get the Pink Slip Reward Card from the game.

Would like to pick this up for the 360, much better graphics, etc. - Big W has it for $86 at the moment.

Nice one scotty....i have been curious about this game as the last installment (Most Wanted)....i thought was shit!

I will have to check it out!
