hey wheres some of the responses on these threads? did they go missing due to the downtime of the board?
tom chambers won it when he wasn't meant to be an allstar.. he came in as an emergency when one of the west players fell to injury and pulled out of the aswe...
hmm i well i reckon replacements are still all-stars,...ok here is a question i hope to stump you all..
What 2 players COMBINED have the most total MADE 3pointers for a single season??...who where they and that year was it done?? (for example if Ray Allen made 56 and Lebron made 20...that would be a total of 76).
I know this past season Ray Allen set the record for most 3's in a season with 269. And I know Arenas was second but I don't know how many he had. Is that on the right track?
Ok, then one of them would be Dennis Scott when he first set the record. I think that was the year. The other guy is George McCloud? I know he had a big season around those years..
I guessed those guys and then went looking for some stats.
Scott had 267 which was the record untill last season and McCloud had 257 for a total of 524.
yep exactly right....amazing shooting by those 2 guys that year...even though when the 3 point line was closer, but still great shooting. i think it was the closest 3point race in nba history

McCloud was outstanding that year....was really really great for his career ...he played for the Pacers, then his parents were both killed in an auto accident....then played in the CBA...then made it back with the Mavs on 10 day contracts etc...then had a full year playing and kicked arse shooting those 3s! good on him..
This is a bit easy; for the first time in NBA history a couple of years ago during an NBA game, a player top scored on his team without connecting for a field goal. Name the player and how many points they scored.
