Pretty sure without Lebron the Heat have only won half their games, without wade and just Lebron they are something like 11-2 which makes your argument null and void.
lebron is in a team of superstars where they all feedoff eachother. but durant is a true playmaker that makes his entire team play better, and he and the rest of the team have been building and learning together. no egos.
LOL WTF?!? No ego's...? GTFO!! Westbrook has a massive ego, it spills from his pours everytime something decent happens with his team.... Durant a lot less but to say there is no ego's, your off the boil mate.
OKC are a much more balanced side then Miami, Lebron can win a game at either end of the court, defense or offense, Durant can only win it at one end, he is no where near the defender Lebron is at the moment!!!!
Lebron has, numerous times, single handedly won games for Miami, as many times if not more then Durant.
I love Durant as a player, but take Lebron away from Miami and they have to find a SHITLOAD of defense and offense from others which just isn't there. Take Durant away from OKC and they simply don't score enough......
for me u can take lebron out for the heat and they still win, take Durant out of OKC and they struggle. For me Durant is a more valuable player to his team! Pretty hard to ague with that i think.
Miami have struggled way, way more without Lebron then when Wade was out!
Lebron makes Wade and Bosh look so much better, Wade could do it with others, no doubt, but this year Lebron has carried them 75% of the time..... Durant's had bad games and Westbrook and co have been there to take up the slack....

All I gotta say is take Lebron out of Miami and they still have Wade (awesome player), Bosh (decent player) and some good shooters (that they just don't seem to use, bad coaching?). Take Durant out and Westbrook is going to throw up A LOT of (ugly) shots trying to be the man, and they only have Harden as another option. The Thunder would lose so many games. Lebron may be defending well, Durant has been pretty clutch. It's a close call, but I don't see how you can have an MVP on a team which has 'the big 3'. OKC do have their own 'big 3' of sorts, but it's not in the same calibre. Just because they've got a coach and GM who have assembled a decent TEAM don't take the credit away from Durant for being the most important piece of that team BY FAR.
OKC are doing great, the run in the regular season, the playoffs, and that comeback from 0-2 hole against the spurs, Westbrook has every right to be hyped about his team doing great.
I will give you the benefit that Durant has YET to be fuly developed into a force on the defensive end of the floor, but when you actually have a team of players performing their roles as assigned, Durant is able to concentrate on what is needed of him, and once he has perfected that role, he will have the confidence in branching out to be the perfect all round player.
