I'm surprised why Dwight gets such a bad rep.. He's actually a really good centre still and is efficient on limited plays. In a recent interview, he said that he is going to unleash the 3 point shot into his game this off season as that's how the game is evolving. Bigs don't stay under the basket anymore.

Agreed. I think just blardy make the announcement as soon as the regular season is over, not even early playoffs like it used to be. It is after all a regular season award. How hard can it be to tally couple hundred votes? Guess there's a few million reasons why they've made it into an awards ceremony $$$. People far smarter than us would have worked out the revenue generated from it I guess.
i've said it elsewhere, but it appears the general consensus is a harden/cp3 backcourt won't work.
the awards show? i semi-liked it, would have been better if it was a bit shorter, and change the timeslot to maybe before the nba finals?
Totally agree, im sort of confused as to what they are trying to do, they sent away some very decent players for him, it just wont make sense unless houston knows something we dont know, maybe paul george is heading houstons way.
D'Antoni will have a bit of an interesting time trying to reinvent the offense for CP3. This trade likely was the best deal that the Clips were offered and it makes sense that they'd try to get something rather than nothing when CP3 becomes a free agent. On the other side, the Rockets owners have always said that they would gamble when it comes to winning and if you have a chance to go all in to acquire an All Star point guard for a bunch of second tier players, I think you pull the trigger.
Meanwhile, Dan Gilbert has let go of their GM and was seen schmoozing with Clown Trump who LeBron has been critical of. I really wouldn't be surprised if LeBron leaves the Cavs in the not too distant future, maybe try to prove that whichever team he goes to, instantly punches their tickets to the Finals.
