NBA Live 2004 vs 2007

I just bought NBA live 2007 for my XBox (original) and I've got to say that I'm really reaallllyyy disappointed with the graphics and gameplay.
Particularly when compared to the 2004 version which I have for PC which is a lot, lot better.
Maybe there comes a point when you simply can't improve something any more...a bit like tightening a bolt...there's a point when that bolt is as tight as its going to get....if you try to do anymore you'll just end up threading the f#@$er!!
Maybe they should just be releasing updates with new and transferred player lists??

360 version is much sweeter in Graphics department, but I've found the 2K7 style simply shits all over Live these days.

I wish for once they would have Barkley & Jordan back....

Dammit....I was going to buy 2K7 as well....they were both $25 at Big W.

On a side-note - The guy we've got working for us (Jameel Pugh) saw that I'd bought Live 07 and said I should have bought 2K7....because he was in it!!!
He told me he was one of 5 players who all the players movements in the game are based on...he was flown to LA and hooked up to motion sensors and did dunks and dribbling. (Others did jumpshots, passing etc) Apparently his name is in the credits.

Jameel is from the US...he's an import for our local team....type his name into Youtube...you'll see why they picked him!!

All Xbox games at Big W are $25 at the moment....the range and selection isn't massive though

Well, PC and XBox are quite different...

they use different graphic engines.. PC would probably give u awesome graphics and game play, without lagging, if u have fantastic graphic cards.. whereas xbox would use the console's graphic engine..

i perfer Sony graphic engine, they are probably the best in console markets..
just my thoughts.

I thought they used a heap of different players? Maybe it's just the animations.

Like Nash, Kobe, Marion, Shaq, just to name a few, ALL shoot, dribble, etc etc like they do in the NBA (life).


But yeah 2K is better than Live, TOTALLY!!!

Me too, though I didn't mind Live 05. Since then, it has been a lot of style, and very little substance.
