Has everyone also been playing Association?

My Player has obviously been a hit but I've taken a break from it lately to play a lot of association. Who else is in?

I've got the Heat in a 28 game season (82 games is way too long, 28 is a mini-season and is quite fun as each game is important). I'm playing 9 minute quarters and changing between Rookie and Pro difficulty.

It's kind of annoying because I win Rookie level games by 40 points and then once I put it to Pro I either win by 5 or lose by double digits. The discrepancy is a big annoying in my opinion.

Anyway, who else is playing?

My Heat are 10-3 at the moment and #1 in the East. I did a lot of trades though.

Starting Lineup
PG: Raymond Felton (league leader in 3PTM)
SG: Dwyane Wade (league leader in points)
SF: Dorrell Wright (lock down defender)
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge (stretches the floor and scores)
C: Dwight Howard (league leader in rebounds)

Bench
F: Sean Williams
F: Martell Webster
F: James Jones
F: Dante Cunningham
G: Juan Dixon
G: Patrick Mills
C: Taj Gibson

I shook my roster up a lot initially, cause I wanted Wade as my #1 guy and I always like making some changes. Bron and Bosh went nearly straight away, at different points in the season I had Dirk, Al Harrington and a lot of different stars. I couldn't get Dwight without giving up LeBron though, so he's with the Magic now.

Dwyane and Dwight are #2 and #3 in the MVP race respectively (LeBron is #1) and Dwight is also #2 in the Defensive Player of the Year race. Raymond Felton is leading for Most Improved with Dorrell Wright #2.

I had an association until the saved file got damaged! :(

PG: Jameer Nelson
SG: Ray Allen
SF: LeBron James
PF: Kevin Garnett
C: Big Z

Bench I had; Belinelli, Brandon Rush, DJ White, JJ Hickson, Rashard Lewis and some others!

Started a new one with the Magic. Here's my team;

PG: Aaron Brooks
SG: Jason Richardson
SF: LeBron James
PF: Kevin Love
C: Brandon Bass

Bench: Saer Sene, Mo Williams, Nick Young, David Noel, Al Thornton, Mike Dunleavy, Tyler Hansbrough & Drew Cook.

Kevin Love is awesome to play with! I dropped 33 & 10 with him 1st game and 28 with LeBron!

Just had a crazy game! I was down about 15 in the 3rd so I decided to give LeBron the ball. He's starting to fire up! He had about 30 at 3qtr time and he and dunleavy exploded in the last qtr! Dunleavy finishes with 15pts and 5/8 from down town including 3/3 in the last qtr and LeBron finishes with 54pts, 8reb, 8ast, 3blk & 1stl! I end up winning 96-91 and am now 2-1. :)

I have just played first game of the playoffs final as the Raptors.

Only lost 4 games in a 28 game season in pro with 4 minute quarters.

This is my current team I have and have had for more than half the season.

PG Jrue Holiday
SG Kobe Bryant
SF Trevor Ariza
PF Kevin Garnett
C Z. Ilgauskas

Bench-
Jameer Nelson
Peja Stojakovich
Marquis Daniels
Brandon Bass
Chris Anderson
Kyle Korver
E. Najera

Kobe won MVP and made all star team with Ariza, who also won most improved award. Peja killed it coming off the bench most of the season, so good to have in your team when you can have him come on for a quater just to hit a few 3's and he is ecstatic playing in the team. Game breaker many times during the season.

My original team was good but only lasted a few rounds into the season then Josh Childress, Derek Fisher and someone else got traded away for nothing (Artest, Najera and some dud rookie) before I realised it was set on auto trades :(

Been loving the Association, its only just been in the last week I have been feeling like playing other games.

I'm gonna probably try and sit down and get a game on tonight.

I can't decide whether I should keep Dorrell Wright as my starting SF or move Martell Webster into the starting lineup.

Wright is athletic, a good defender and can hit the 3 ball but isn't that productive in the starting lineup. Webster on the other hand plays less than half the game and usually scores at least 15 points because I've got his jumper down pat.

Im in my second season with the Wizards, played on All Star in my first season and won the championship, and acquired 3 top 5 picks from trading. My chemistry was all over the place because I traded too much but I managed to keep winning. After the draft, I then on traded the 3 players I drafted + josh howard for lerbon. I upped the difficulty to superstar and am 14-4 so far.
Lineup is McGee, Gasol, Lebron, Allen and Wall. Mike Miller 6th man. i love this game.

It's kind of annoying because I win Rookie level games by 40 points and then once I put it to Pro I either win by 5 or lose by double digits. The discrepancy is a big annoying in my opinion.

I play on superstar and they're usually close games but I tried one game on hall of fame and it's stupid! The opposition hits every shot no matter how contested and who with and you can't hit a freakin' shot!

Hall of Fame is outrageous. I am yet to find anyone who can consistently win on HOF even if they play as the Heat and against a lower team.

Superstar is the level where consistent good player is rewarded, HoF cheats and is so one sided.

After much deliberation I'm going to keep Dorrell Wright in the starting lineup. I subbed Webster into the game early in the 2nd and kept him on till the 4th, and he did very well.

He scored 22 points on 10/14 shooting and grabbed 5 boards, but he doesn't offer much defensively. A great scorer, but don't think I need him with the starters when Wade, Felton, Aldridge and Dwight are all capable of scoring.

Dorell provides better rebounding and defense from the forward position and is a better athlete.

Think I might get 3 guys to the All-Star Game as Wade is averaging 26 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 6.5 APG, 2 SPG, 1 BPG while Howard is putting up 17 PPG, 11 RPG and 2 BPG and Felton surprising with 16 PPG and 9 APG.

Unfortunately Aldridge isn't getting as much love as the other stars and is only averaging 14.7 PPG and 6.5 RPG

Played a game on Pro and realized it's not the difficulty that annoys me, it's more the game speed which means the stats will be less impressive.

Regardless, I can clearly play on this difficulty and I smashed the Cavaliers 100-64. May consider taking the difficulty up a notch, dunno how that will affect the speed of the games though.

Wade killed it again with 31 points, 6 boards, 7 assists and 4 steals on 11/17 shooting and 10/11 free throws. He even had a sweet one-handed alley-oop.

Dwight chipped in with 19 points and 16 boards.

Won again I'm now 16-3.

Was down by 17 against the Bobcats but came back to send the game into overtime at 85-85 and ended up winning in OT.

Dwight was player of the game with 35 points and 17 boards. Wade went berserk late and finished with 33 points, 7 boards and 14 assists. Have now won 10 games in a row.

I'm never playing association again!

I had an awesome game going, I hit a 3 on the buzzer with dunleavy to send the game into overtime! I was up 1 with about 1 minute to go in ot and LeBron had about 50pts and 18ast and my POWER WENT OUT!!!! AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!
