Glad i didn't go in on a case break. How the fark can this be a "high end product" with all those sticker autos? Hideous things they are. Some nice patches though. Will save the money i would of blown on a box and buy some nice patches.

Anyone else remember Fleer Retro?? Which had ALL sticker autos except for the 1 On Card auto per case?? That was floating at $600/box too!

I think the card companies know that people are still going to buy the products regardless of whether there are stickers inside! The main aim of NT is Logoman and RPAs which are all on card.

I have never been one to buy a single box worth over $200, so the breakdown of a single box doesn't really affect me. I do like to chance my luck in a few group break spots, but that is all. Otherwise I will just buy the singles I do like from the set!

Must admit I have been VERY underwhelmed with the content purely from a Value Standpoint..

I mean.. $650 (for Aussies, at best closer to $700) for a box & sure they have some nice cards, but the plates have basically been rendered only Mediocre at best due to the amount of them, (avg 2 per box) plus the dual sigs seem very modest also!

Absolutely love the patches - but even the base cards seem to lack punch for mine! I'd certainly rather 3 boxes of ATG or 2 Boxes of Lead best of Basketball ANYDAY!!!

Please note - I'm a HUGE Panini fan, massive even! But this series seems to be a bit rich for me considering the content.

While I agree with you about the risk involved in it, people need to stop looking at the Print plates as if something was taken away from them.

Previous versions of NT were only 8 cards per box - This year is 9-10 (plus Kobe card). So you are getting the 1-2 plates as additional cards!
I know the cost went up on 10-11 NT, but that is relevant to the amount of RPAs, Tags and Logoman to be found!

It would be fun if you had the spare cash and didn't mind getting burnt, iv seen some stacked cases and ten some horrible ones as if the people's good cases robbed the bad ones, personally I wouldn't find it worth while buying boxes if I was only really interested in a couple of cards save the cash and wait.

I would say $1.5k is a good start and probably what it is worth. But it is unredeemed also. That can go either way.

What a card though.

I think the set is quite ugly bar one or two parallels and definitely doesn't look as good as the last release.

Yeah I knew I would get outbid anyway but thought why not make a play for a redemption, you never know! But yeah I reached my limit, saw the 07/08 Parker Logoman come up the other day in the Philippines for $999 BIN or BO. I have never spent more than $250 on any card and that ain't gonna change in the near future. In the meantime I will just pick up all the Splitters for the PC! Have a sick NT patch of his /10 that I just scored for $50 so at least that's a start!

Who cares! It isn't going to be paid for! lol

The bidders on it already combine for 35 bid retractions in the last 6 months! lol Plus, 2 sellers have bid on no items other than this in the last 6! lol
