My weekend results

I had a long weekend but here are the scans of my recent pickups I had first starting with the mail:

This was a free card from another site and as you can see, that card is going to the PC!!!

Yesterday, I decided to make the drive down to Toledo,OH to a card shop I seen an ad in from reading a Toledo Mud Hens program I got at a game I went to last season. With not much else going on around here for this weekend, I thought I would try something new for a change and I was glad to make the drive down there. Here are the scans from what I got at a sports card shop down in Toledo,OH:

That jersey card is #'d to 50. They had 2 more Prince cards I needed but the prices were a bit high for them and plus I wanted to try a pack at a new product that is out scans will be below.

I finally decided to try a pack of the new 07-08 SP GU:

Yeah it was somewhat disappointing for $50. That has to be one of the worst autos I have ever pulled out of a pack. That is not even an auto if you see the scan above closely. I might be contacting Upper Deck sometime this week concerning that auto I pulled.

That is all I have to share from my weekend of pickups here. As always, comments are welcomed and I will be interested in comments of what I should do here about the auto I pulled out of SP GU. Otherwise thanks again for looking!!!

The Prince GU's are nice but your right that auto is horrible.

Hard luck on the Ager, but I doubt you'll get anything back from UD about the quality of it. It's almost as good as he gives. Sucks.

The player doesn't deserve to be featured on a sportscard if he puts that on an auto card. His run should be destroyed and the record ommitted from the checklist. If he doesn't want to take the time to sign that badly, I'm sure the player wouldn't mind.

Man, Ager has toned down his auto again???? Can't even muster his "M" now??? Gee whiz.

Yeah I don't get why it is so hard to write an M to his name. If your going to sign short, just do the initials at least but that auto goes to show what lack of effort he has in his writing skills. That auto is just terrible. I was glad no one in Toledo,OH was able to do that box since that is probably the biggest hit that would of came out of that box. Just imagine if anyone did that particular box........
