OK the girl and I have talked bout it and here is what we do with the winnings.
Firstly after I have hit eBay and set snipes on all that I want and wait for the 1000 wining bid emails we buy the penthouse of the Man U building next door to us.
Second we start planning our card shop here in town. Profit is not an issue due to the millions we have already.
The card shop will have a cafe with tables and chairs with TW's making Melbournes best coffe. Soon you will see all sorts of big spending suits busting packs with their lattes and reading the financial review each day.
There will be a pool table and some arcade machines too with one of those photo booths to take a pic of you with your big mojo just pulled at our shop
Don't even get me started on the live NBA playoff days! LOL
Any kid under 10 will get a free pack of cards with any purchase. You have to look after the future and their face is priceless.
NBL and other players will come in for signing sessions too.
An entire wall will be dedicated to my card collection. "Chad's wall of fame! LMAO. Not for sale. TW's get a shelf or two as well hehe.
Once a month we will fly in 20 Ozcard members for a member night box bust on us and drinks (age permitting) All that were members before our win get 25% off regardless. No selling at Book price either [-X
Its the average eBay value plus $5 or nothing. The $5 takes care of what you would pay for postage and for the convieniance of having the card right there and then.
Anyone that buys ANY box but allows Tighty Whiteys to bust it for them will get 25% off the box price! She loves opening packs LOL
I'll publish a monthly mag that will have all the latest stuff in it and our OWN price guide. At least you will know you can walk in the store and pay MAG price
Player collectors will have cards held for them first and if there is more than one all will have a crack at it with our 'in house' auctions. Out of our list of player collectors each month one will be selected and they will have the PC card of their choice
Once every six months all are welcome for a stocktake in shop auction. To clear old stock not moving.
Depending on how much money we lose we may look at franchises for those in other states. But don't worry the members nights take care of you
Hopefully all this gets the hobby kicking along in OZ mainstream like it used to be.
PS if anyone wants a card in a cabinet that one of our cats is laying on, too bad. Not for sale. Cats get lounging priority.
