Re: MY QUEST FOR 400: 05-06 SPX Marvin Williams Winning Materials
Hey mate I have good news and/or bad news.
I emailed a guy at upper deck and showed him that picture of your collection and asked him about print runs. He was impressed with your collection if somewhat worried lol
But he said the print run was 2,275 so you still have a few to find
Hope this inspires your quest.

I would LOVE to know who you emailed...I have been emailing UD for upwards fo 2 years...and NO ONE has told me anything CLOSE to a print run... they said flat out that they have NO CLUE very interesting that that person gave you an exact number hmmmmmmmmm
Re: MY QUEST FOR 400: 05-06 SPX Marvin Williams Winning Materials
the BIGGEST # I have been told by people is roughly 1275
Math was based on UD's advertised average of one auto/jersey RC per box across the print run. That is a total of 40,774 cards for 40,774 boxes. (40,774/14 = about 2900 cases of product, which wouldn't be atypical for UD - I'd say 26,000 boxes of SPx would have been low for UD.)
then multiplied that by 18 to get a total number of packs: 733,932
then divided the packs by the stated odds of pulling just a Winning Materials (not including Winning Combos) for 52,423
then divided the 52,423 by the number of cards in the set (41), for a final answer of 1,278.

Solid maths, maybe he got it wrong?
His name is chris and he runs the upper deck facebook site. He is apparently the manager of brands and I asked him yesterday for you when I noticed that you didnt know what it was. Maybe some were short printed and others had more made?
Re: MY QUEST FOR 400: 05-06 SPX Marvin Williams Winning Materials
This is the strangest card collection I've seen lol...it's a great attitude to collecting though, and an awesome feat so far! Here's an idea: once you get to 1278, place the other 1277 cards into an incinerator, so you now have the only card in existance I've always wondered if people who own the entire print run of something have ever considered doing that.
