So an update. I have written 3 more articles for my magazine. Here they are!

ANTHONY MORROW GUEST WRITER:


I was pretty hyped when I heard the Nets were moving to Brooklyn! New Jersey is great, and it’s been a great place for the franchise for 35 years, but I think this is the right time for a change. The New Jersey fans were great, but I’m looking forward to playing in front of Brooklyn fans. Brooklyn is a great basketball city man, and I think the fan base will be awesome. A few New Jersey fans will keep supporting us; we will have all of Brooklyn cheering for us and to top it off all the Knicks fans across the pond hating us in New York! It’s going to be so much fun in Brooklyn can’t wait! Now I’m just waiting to get my Brooklyn Nets gear in the mail so I can start wearing it around! I’m pretty sure my shipment is on the way. And the arena is going to be great as well. I’ve seen it and it’s looking great so far, can’t wait to play in it next year.
I’m not that nervous about the situation involving all the rumours about Deron Williams moving. Deron is a future hall of famer and a great person and I know he will do what’s best for himself and his family. Saying that, I do feel that his going to stay. He really likes Brooklyn, the city and the people. I feel like the team came together last season, even though it was a losing season for the team. The chemistry we had last season was great, and Gerald Wallace coming in at the trade deadline was a good move. So I feel that Deron will stay, but I know his going to do what’s best for him and his family.
But I do think the team can perform will without Deron. We had a great team last season but I do feel the shortened season hurt us. With new players coming in, it was hard to get used to playing with them without a full training camp. And not to mention the injuries. Brook (Lopez) was out for most of the season and a lot of the players were felling tired. I think my body held up well though. Last season I worked a lot on my flexibility so I think that helped a lot. I did miss some games with an ankle injury but apart from that, I didn’t miss any games. I really think that my improved flexibility was the main reason I didn’t miss many games....and a bit of luck! Hopefully next season we can all stay healthy and have a winning season.
Speaking about next season, I really want to lead the league in 3 point percentage next season. I’m planning to keep working on coming off screens to get open and playing better and more effective off the ball. I also think my post game got better this season, so I’m really looking to improve that as well. On the defensive end, I’m planning to get more steals. I feel like I need to be more active on defence, so I’ll be planning to work on that. I think that the coaching staff will really help me get better next season, along with Coach Avery Johnson. Coach is a great guy. Real honest you know. He doesn’t sugarcoat anything, he’s just really straight up with you, and that makes me want to play well for him. And his got a great reputation as a player and a coach, so he’s one of those guys he knows how to coach and I have a lot of respect for him. He’s a great guy off the court as well, his everything I want a coach to be.
As for me off the court, I love twitter. I think it’s a great way to interact with fans. A lot of people were shocked when I changed my twitter name from @BlakeBoiPacino to @MrAnthonyMorrow. I just felt it was time for a change. I picked that name for a bit of fun, people liked it but I just felt it was time for a change. And I’m sure it’s easier for people to find me now on twitter! I love watching TV Sitcoms and any type of basketball as well, I’m a big T.V nut. Interview with Monta Ellis:


After being a fan favourite and their best player for the last 7 and a half seasons in Golden State, Monta Ellis was traded from Golden State to Milwaukee, in a trade in most Warrior fans weren’t happy with. But while the Warriors were tanking for the future, Ellis and the Bucks were making a push for the playoffs. Sure they didn’t make it but Monta showed that he will get the Bucks back to the playoffs in the next couple of seasons. OVERTIME had a chance to catch up with him earlier this week:
OT: So, how’s Milwaukee?
Ellis: It’s different to the bay area man. It’s much more quite and you see less people. Out in the bay area you got a lot of tourists and you don’t get much of them in Milwaukee. But that can be a good thing I guess, I mean you can go out to a restaurant and get a table without waiting you know (laughs.)
OT: And how’s the time difference?
Ellis: Oh man, that’s a pain! I mean getting ready for games earlier; it can affect your game at times. It took me a while to get used to it.
OT: When did you really start thinking that you could make it to the NBA?
Ellis: I always believed in myself, so probably around my high school days I really thought I could make it. I mean I had such a good high school career, that I didn’t really feel I needed to go to college. I was named high school players of the year with Greg Oden, so I was in a talented class of players. And I was lucky enough to get drafted by Golden State.
OT: Speaking of Golden State, I’m sure you know that the Warriors fans weren’t happy when you were traded. What are your last words to the Golden State fans?
Ellis: I had a great 7 years in Golden State. Those fans are just amazing, always supporting us even when things weren’t going the best. I know that they weren’t that happy when I left, but I think it was just time to move one and time for a change. Golden State has a great front office, so I’m sure that they will be just fine.
OT: Ok, so let’s talk about your new team, Milwaukee. You almost made it to the playoffs this season, but came up short. Would anything shorter than the playoffs be a disappointment for you guys next season?
Ellis: Oh, 100% man. We really through that we could make the playoffs this season, but it just didn’t turn out to be. We have a great group of guys, Brandon (Jennings) is a great player and Ersan (Ilyasova) had a great season for us. The guys will go into camp this year hungrier, and we will make the playoffs next season.
OT: A lot of people think you and Jennings can’t play together in the back court. Do you think you and Brandon will be able to play well together?
Ellis: Brandon is a great player man, and whenever you can get the chance to play with a great player you have to take it. Me and Brandon are both scorers, so it’s good to know if I’m not having a good shooting game, that Brandon is there to back me up. Me and Brandon will be in the gym this off-season, learning each other’s games and will be better than ever next season.
OT: With the shortened season this year, how much did it affect your body, with so many games in such a short period of time?
Ellis: It was tough to deal with at times; I’m not going to lie to you. I mean you basically had no time to rest. It seemed like we were on a plane every night. And it was tough to play at times because there wasn’t enough time to practice. And with the trade it was even tougher because I had to adjust to playing with new guys in such a short period of time. Hopefully we don’t have another lockout ever again!
OT: I’m sure all basketball fans don’t want a lockout again!
Ellis: You for sure, it would have been very tough for fans to deal with.
OT: You a twitter guy?
Ellis: (Laughs) No, not really! I don’t have an account, but I’m sure someone has made a fake account of me (laughs.)
OT: Do you like social media?
Ellis: It’s pretty cool I think. It’s a great way for fans to interact with players. I don’t have any accounts because you write one bad thing and you can get fined and all that.
OT: To finish off, give us one thing that Monta Ellis will do next season.
Ellis: Next season, I’m planning to make and the all-star game and take the Bucks to the playoffs baby!

Speaking of the colours, the Crazy Light 2 won’t disappoint. With its ‘electricity’ colour wave, the shoe is bound to stand out on the court. The base colour of lime/neon green looks pretty cool, but won’t be as popular as the basic black/red/white colour Adidas basketball shoes are known for. And the light blue colour wave which was a popular hit with the first Crazy Light seems to be gone as well. But we will be able to recreate it and any other colour wave you can think of, as the Crazy Light 2 is now on miadidas for $185 (with the normal price being $140). On miadidas, uses will be able to customize just about everything of the shoe. The shoe has already been put to the test in the NCAA tournament. Did'nt realise it was an argument, I thought it was more fact. You said Diaw is barely a starter in this League (I say he is, he seems to be doing ok as a starter for the Spurs at the moment).

Iverson is desperate to get back in to the League, NO ONE wants him and his HORRIBLE attitude. Looks like facts to me. I'd say your "argument" is pretty weak.

I'm in no way saying Diaw is better than Iverson, just the facts above. Hopefully you get to Lebanon to see Iverson play at some stage, it's a great country.
