For you who know me, I don't often post maildays here on the board.

a) I'm lazy with scanning
b) I'm lazy with photobucket
c) I'm inconsistently buying cards
d) I'm not buying amazing cards

But anyway, this is something I've been meaning to share for a number of years that I've been here. I acquired this approximately around the year 2005 or around there. My parents won it for me at an basketball dinner auction, where various other sports memorabillia was on sale, including framed Michael Jordan photographs, and pieces of memorabillia of famous Australian sportsmen including Donald Bradman and Ian Thorpe.

This is without a doubt my favourite, most valuable and best piece of basketball memorabillia I have ever had and no doubt will ever acquire in the future (let's not be definite though). In person it is priceless, and beyond the value and pride of any small basketball card, even if it's autographed by Lebron James or Michael Jordan.

I present you with two of the greatest players to ever play the game of basketball with between them - 2 Olympic Gold Medals, 3 MVP's, 5 Finals MVP's, 6 NBA Championships, 8 All-Defensive Selections, 25 All-NBA Selections and 26 All-Star Selections

That's F&()&*( awesome Jimbo!! Where do u keep it??

thanks mate, i love it! umm it hangs in my room, just above my bed! alongside all my jerseys and posters of favourite players!

Sweet item Jim!!! What took you so long to share it with us???

Scotty: I never actually figured out how I could post pictures. Not my digital camera, but yeah finally got some time, to get some good actions shots of it! Haha, not as amazing as some people with their MJ signed photo's, but it'll definately be one of my favourite possessions for years to come.

All that matters mate, is that it matters to you. And maildays are always awesome if they matter to you. I'll share a Rider common in a mailday if its a new one I need - because thats how much his cards mean to me.

Glad you shared this mate :)

Thanks mate, that's definately true, great feedback :)

thanks for all the comments guys!

very nice indeed mate, where is the COA from?

I'll look it up later and type out exactly what it says!

However on the back of the framed photograph is a piece of paper attached, it's actually from that store in the city of Sydney, Midcity Centre.

Authentics formerly known as the Card Shaq or something like that.

I typed in the web address anyway, and saw they had more stock of the Shaq/Olajuwon autographed authentic photo's, although they were selling them online for significantly more than I had attained mine for.

Love it! I have an MJ one that when I was a wee lad, for sake of argument, 12 years old? Around 1995-96 anyhow. I decided that all I wanted in life was an MJ signed plaque and so started saving pocket money and such (which at the time was like $20 a year...). It just so happened a year later Dad went to the US for work and brought back 1, by suprise for my birthday! Will take some pics at some stage, but that is most definately my most prized item, nevermind that it is MJ, just the story and desire behind it.

So having said that, I totally understand how that is the prize of your collection :) Not only to be signed by 1, but 2 of the best ever, that's a beautiful piece right there :)
