The scan in the original auction shows the condition of the card, the listing says it's NM-M, which it appears to be, it doesn't claim it's gem mint or pristine, and you should have checked the auction listing properly before hitting the BIN. I can understand that after dropping 200 US on a card you'd want it to be perfect, but unless you're selling the card, does it really matter if one corner is a bit soft? If you get a beautiful rare card like that and choose to focus on a dodgy corner instead of the awesomeness of the card I think there's something wrong with you.
I don't agree with retaliation negs, or leaving unjustified negs for any reason for that matter, but if you left him a negative first then what do you expect? From what I can tell he fulfilled his end of the deal and you still weren't satisfied when you had no right to be, and gave him an unwarranted negative. He's gone above and beyond the call of duty refunding you $50 that he didn't need to in my opinion.
If card condition is so important then perhaps you should check the scans better, that's all I can say.MavsMan© said:If there was a ****ed corner in the listing, I wouldnt have hit it. I DO read the listings 100% these days, its the scans that I dont often inspect with a magnifying glass.
I totally agree, It should have been included in the description, but i can see the other side as well. Hope all works out well as its still a great looking card.IfIcouldbelikeChauncey said:A truly honest seller should clearly indicate in the description if the card is damaged in anyway. I know I would. It's a shame but there's probably just as many dishonest sellers out there as there as those who look to do the right thing. I guess we all take that chance with Ebay.
Bad luck on the card Mavs
