I went down to the shops today to find they had run out of AFL cards so i decided to buy 2 packs of 2008/09 Upper Deck First Edition.

Heres what i got

That depends on how much you want to spend? I would go for the Mid-Range Boxes. But it's up to you.

Boxes that are cheap and have 3-4 hits per box (Topps Basketball and Upper Deck Basketball) usually are $40-$60
Boxes that are mid range and have 8-10 hits per box (Bowman Elevation and SP Game Used) usually are $90-$110
Boxes that are expensive and have 3-4 hits per box (Exquisite and Ultimate) usually $350-$550

that's in us $ ... i think.. coz exquisites around 700aud and i sort of remember the new spgu being around $250-300aud? If you're after inserts and not jerseys/autos.. pre 2000s are a much better idea.. pretty cheap boxes and loads of nice cards to look at.. just no auto or game used

the worst place to buy cards anywhere....
seriously these guys charge about 50-100% more than anyone on packs/boxes of basketball

wanneroo markets has the cheapest boxes/packs of bball in australia..

altho i didnt think even Al's could charge more on afl since it has rrp all over the boxes and packs? or are you talking about singles?
