Here is what I was able to get in the month of November 2006 from this NBA season!!! Enjoy:

Pistons vs. Grizzlies 11-4-06

I made it to the Palace again last night for the Pistons game. I made the drive up again and I was actually prepared with items. I am glad I made it to the card show to pickup some last minute things for this game. It did help. Here are my results:

Pistons vs. Grizzlies 11-4-06

Grizzlies
Chucky Atkins 2 8x10 photos, 4 cards (It was great to see him in person again. I remember him from his days with the Pistons and he is usually very nice!)
Brian Cardinal 1 card
Rudy *** 3 cards
Alexander Johnson 1 card
Dahntay Jones 5 cards (2 of them did not turn out well from a gold paint pen I attempted to use. I am completely finished with using gold paint pens. They were a problem for me to use last season and I will not use one anymore.)
Terence Kinsey 2 cards (I did not have any items for him until I decided to make it to the card show to see what I can find of him. Glad I did make it for a change.)
Kyle Lowry 2 cards
Mike Miller 4 cards
Lawrence Roberts 1 card
Damon Stoudamire 1 card
Jake Tsakalidis 1 card
Hakim Warrick 1 8x10 photo
Coach Mike Fratello 1 roster sheet page (Me: Coach, do you and Jeff Van Gundy still get along? Have you settled your dispute with him from your days at TNT? Coach Fratello: Yeah that is over now I still leave him a voice message on his cell phone every now and then. Me: Okay coach thanks and good game tonight.)

No current Pistons that day but wait......I did not imagine ever being able to manage to pickup this. Here it is the surprise pickup of my day:

Chuck Daly 1 3x5 Index card!!! (I heard he is usually as impossible as Bill Laimbeer. This was my first time ever seeing him pickup a pen. I was glad to be able to manage this!!!)

Alright that is all with my day here for autographs. Thanks for looking!!!

Pistons vs. Hornets 11/15/06

Alright I got around to making it to this game last night. Here are the results:

Hornets

Hilton Armstrong 1 card
Brandon Bass 6 cards (One of the cards has metallic ink smear from when I tested the pen to be sure it worked for another item I wanted to get signed. Oh well at least autograph is not affected at all thankfully!!!)
Rasual Butler 2 cards
Kenny Gattison 1 team roster sheet
Bobby Jackson 1 card (Smeared from metallic pen. Oh well I got him before no big deal.)
Linton Johnson 1 card
Desmond Mason 1 card
Jannero Pargo 1 card
Chris Paul 1 magazine cover!!! (I am very very happy with getting this player to sign for me!!!)
Cedric Simmons 1 card
Marcus Vinicius 1 team roster sheet
Darrell Walker 1 card

Alright that is all for this game. I did get Chris Paul and he is down to one per if he decides to sign. I am glad I got him; he seems to be getting harder and harder to get. Thanks alot for looking!!!

Pistons vs. Rockets 11/18/06

I got around to doing the Rockets last night. Here are the results:

Rockets

Rafer Alston 8 cards (Rafer: Those bottom 4 cards are for me to get at after the game? I will sign the top 4 for now. Me: So your going to come back out after the game? Rafer: Yes I will be coming back out after the game. By then, I will get the bottom row of 4 cards you have for me.)
Shane Battier 2 cards (He signed one before the game and one after the game when he came back out. His sig is different before and after the game.)
Chuck Hayes 2 cards
Luther Head 2 cards
Juwan Howard 1 card
John Lucas 1 card
Dikembe Mutombo 1 card
Steve Novak 2 cards (Steve: Where did you get these cards from? I have not seen these cards out yet.)
Scott Padgett 7 cards (I had more for Scott. He would of probably done them all but there was a big crowd on hand at this game. I didn't mind but the look I saw on his face when I presented these cards to him is priceless. He looked shocked I was able to find so many.)
Kirk Snyder 2 cards
Vassillis Spanoulis 1 3x5 Index Card

and......................................

............................................

.................................................. .................................................. ....

Yao Ming 1 8x10 photo!!!!! (I am super happy with this one!!! I was shocked to get him!!! He usually does 3-4 autos and then he is done but he did 7 at this game, and I was the last one he would sign for!!! After he signed for me, he proceeded to pickup a photo a kid dropped; handed it back to him and proceeded to run in to the locker room. This autograph made my day!!!)

Well that is all I got for this game. Rafer Alston stayed true to his word and came out after the game. I can't say he didn't lie to me. I think I am the first ever collector to show Steve Novak his first 2 cards!!! It was a overall good day!!! The Yao Ming autograph topped everything that I encountered in this experience. Thanks alot for looking!!!

Hawks @ Hotel 11/22/06

Since I did not have much else going on and I do not have to be anywhere until Thanksgiving day, I was able to get around to trying the hotel for the Atlanta Hawks this evening. This team has to be one of the easiest signing teams in the league. Here are my results:

Hawks @ Hotel 11/22/06

Esteban Batista 3 cards
Cedric Benson 1 3x5 index card
Herb Brown 1 3x5 index card ("This is my favorite city to come back to!")
Josh Childress 2 8x10 photos
Matt Freije 7 cards
Joe Johnson 4 cards
Tyronn Lue 3 cards
Zaza Pachulia 1 card (Auto came out bad on Chrome. I thought I rubbed the chrome surfaces good enough but oh well. At least I will get another chance with this team again this season.)
Josh Smith 2 8x10 photos, 1 Slamups poster
Steve Smith 1 3x5 index card (If I knew he was with the team, I would of brought some cards for him to do. This was a suprise.)
Salim Stoudamire 8 cards (This player can take forever with the sharpie. Reguardless I am happy that he signed away!!!)
Marvin Williams 2 cards (This was surprising. We thought he already got on the bus but we mistaken him for another player lol. At least he was nice about it and signed!!!)
Shelden Williams 4 cards
Mike Woodson 1 3x5 index card

One other person I missed that signed away was former Orlando Magic player Dennis Scott. Wow I did not know he worked for the Hawks now. If only I did not run out of index cards or had advanced knowledge of him being there, it would be a different story. Otherwise that is it for my day with this team! Thanks alot for looking and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone that reads this!!!

Pistons vs. Bobcats 11-24-06

I made the drive up to the Palace again for another Pistons game. This time, I was able to get around to do the Bobcats before the game yesterday evening. Here are my results:

Pistons vs. Bobcats 11-24-06

Bobcats

Alan Anderson 1 card
Bernie Bickerstaff 1 team roster sheet
Primoz Brezec 2 8x10 photos
Matt Carroll 1 card (Silver metallic smear again oh well I had to do that. Adam Morrison was on his way out and I did not want to miss him.)
Melvin Ely 8 cards (I traded 2 of these signed cards later for another Sean May signed card that I did not have. This collector I traded with did not have any items for him so I decided to make a trade with him. Glad I was able to be a help!!!)
Raymond Felton 1 card (FINALLY GOT HIM!!!)
Walter Hermann 1 team roster sheet
Brevin Knight 1 card
Sean May 4 cards, 1 SI Cover!!! (This guy is a signing machine!!! I traded for another signed card later.)
Adam Morrison 1 card, 1 SI Cover w/J.J. Redick (This guy signed alot at this game!!! Get him now before he has limits on his signing. Now this cover just needs J.J. Redick on it and I will have it done.)
Bernard Robinson 3 cards
Jake Voskuhl 1 card
Gerald Wallace 1 card

Alright that is all I have to share from this experience. One thing I encountered driving back was some dense fog but at least I made it through. Thanks alot for looking!!!

Okay that is all I have to share resultwise for November 2006. Thanks for looking!!!
