Unfortunately I couldn't get down to Sandown today but to make up for it I decided to bust open the 10 packs of this year's NRL Champions I've had waiting for me since before exams started.
This is my first time collecting NRL cards, decided to get into it this year because the commons look really cool and I know heaps of players now not just Wests Tigers players.
Living in Melbourne I'd never seen packs of NRL cards being sold except for at card shows but after a hospital appointment down at Clayton's Monash Medical Centre I decided to pop into the Gift Shop to grab some Starbursts for my sister because she'd been asking for some...10 minutes later...no Starbursts but 5 packs of AFL Champions and 5 packs of NRL Champions!!! Last place I'd ever expect to find football cards let alone NRL cards... Had another appointment a couple of weeks later and got the same mixed grill again, wasn't going to let the opportunity slip because NRL packs are as rare as gold in Victoria.
Anyway held off busting until I had finished exams because I'm superstitious and believe I have better luck if I wait...and I think it paid off big time!!!

Love this release but I'm still undecided on stickers as parallels...
Everything except the Tigers stickers are up for trade for Tigers equivalents or any of the Triple Centurion Mirror Cards. I'll create an NRL Tradelist and Wantlist soon.
Sorry that this isn't exactly a live bust or even a box bust for that matter, I just wanted to share my momentous occassion with you all.
