Congrats on the first up mailday Rogerbid!
I've got hundreds of star co cards and I consult in the hobby for the mags about them from time to time. That is indeed a real Jordan court kings. If its for you to keep then raw is fine. If you want to sell later on I suggest getting it graded by GAI although the back on that will hurt your grade but only slighty as the back grading is more leniant.
In the bags they came in some suffered over the years and the colour from the card behind can bleed into the back of the card in front as the bags often weren't completely airtight. That is what seems to have happend with your card lending it to be even more legit as most fakes aren't bagged and are sold as singles.
