MVP contenders - Jeremy Lin... what the????

Since the MVP race update is a week-by-week thing and Lin's presence has meant that the Knicks have won 7 in a row, I don't see why not. MVP is all about helping the team get wins. The question is if he remains in there.
 
It's a joke!!!! 2 weeks of the season shouldn't dictate the MVP!

Yes, it's updated week by week, but it's not just based on the week preceding, it is meant to be on the whole season to date!! You trying to say that Lin has done more in 2 weeks than someone like Monta Ellis has done all season???

Enough is enough I reckon, give him his dues, but make him earn the right to be MVP over a season, not 2 weeks
 
Haha nah that's not the way I see it. Usually the last 3 places are dictated by what the player's done over the past week or so, they're just there for recognition and not really in any contention for MVP. Since the season's still early, Lin's contributed to 7 wins and GSW only have like 11 wins altogether so he deserves to be there. It'll be a joke when Lin gets into the top 5 or 6.
