Josh Massoud, what a knob!
Yes, Rheumatoid Athritis is uncommon in young people, even more uncommon in young males so for 2 to be in the same elite sporting team is very rare.
However, an outbreak suggests it is contagious which it is most definitely NOT. For the team to "hit" with the condition means the team is affected by it. Both of these guys have had the condition for years and it is under management so is of no consequence to the team at present.
Also, the quote "a disease more synonymous with battered footballers well beyond the twilight of their careers" is absolute B/S. After completing their careers, many footballers suffer from OSTEOARTHRITIS (or wear and tear arthrirtis) which is a totally different condition to rheumatoid arthritis.
