Update: Snelling would be sent to the Nationals for Jose Vidro in a trade tentatively agreed to between Seattle and Washington, the Associated Press reports.
Recommendation: Snelling is one of the better hitting prospects in baseball as poor health is the only thing that has held him back. Finally healthy, he could fill an outfield spot for the Nationals and contribute in 2007.
If he can be a regular starter he'll start to put up decent numbers. This is a good move for him, Kearnes and proberly Escobar will be starting OF but Snelling can fight for a spot easier here. Not as high profile but it will be better for him personally.
