Missing box of cards from DACW

Hi all,

I received my latest shipment from DACW last night. I was only wanting to get a box of 55pt one touch holders but thought I would make it worthwhile and get a box of 12/13 Gold Standard as well.

When I opened the box I found that there was 5 one touch holders out of the one touch box which appeared a little strange. I continued to pull out all of the paper filler to find that I hadn't received the gold standard box. There was the free packets of upper deck baseball cards and the single pack of crusade I bought but no GS. I went through the small box numerous times and stretched all of the paper filler out to find it was not there.

I contacted DACW customer support and Kevin Kramerz (who has been very helpful) to inform them that they forgot to pack my GS box. Kevin sent me through an email this morning with a video attached of what looked to be my box being packed with the GS going into the box and the one touch holders were placed in a complete box of holders.

Since I received the email this morning I have checked over the box again and it appears to have been opened at the bottom following the original packaging. I have sent evidence of this through to DACW.

What I want to know is. Has this happened to anyone else before from DACW? What chance do I have of ever receiving the box if they have video proof?

Update from Kevin.

He has told me that for issues like this I have to contact customs and UPS. So now I have to go through the painstaking effort of contacting these people to get my cards back.

I haven't heard of any issues with DACW myself, and have also done multiple purchases through them with no hassles. Must be a rogue mail sorter or something. Best of luck getting your cards!

UPS are now conducting their investigation and will get back to me Monday night.

I'm not hopeful though......

Be thankful it's UPS and not USPS! USPS wouldn't do crap!

i had a package arrive that was sans my free gift of those shwat North Carolina cards, cant say i was disappointed, although i was running out of coasters haha

on a serious note though, hope it gets sorted mate. UPS are usually pretty good

any insurance coverage if it's lost? should be covered, they can't just say "oh well"

Yeah they are pretty good. I have had no problems in the past. But I keep reading situations where they have opened packages (didn't know they were allowed to do this).

I'm not sure whether there is any insurance included. You would assume so.

What I find interesting is that the only thing missing is the most expensive item in the box. It feels like someone knew what they were taking.....

I deal with them all the time - and have had the wrong box sent once. A quick email and they sent me the wanted box (and I got to keep the mistake). They have also refunded me for 90s boxes with 'glued' cards in the past. They are usually really great when they make a mistake.

Problem is it looks like a UPS guy has stolen it. I hope you get it sorted. Really frustrating! Surely, UPS will investigate and find in your favour.
