That's right...who likes some 'white chocolate'?

I certainly do! Call me old fashioned or traditional, but what I like in a PG is the ability to throw an amazing dish which shows court vision, awareness and a sense of that player being one step ahead of everyone else on court - seeing the future so to speak. They aren't necessarily the greatest PGs of all time, but guys like Ricky Rubio, Rajon Rondo and Milos Teodosic looked like they sometimes had eyes in the back of their head which resulted in some really sensational assists....

One of the guys high on that list is Jason 'White Chocolate' Williams.

There are a few decent cards at the end, but for the most part, mainly low end rookie cards and inserts.

Rookie and Pre-Rookie RCs and PRCs

1998-99 Collector's Edge Impulse -
I don't mind the collegiate cards, so long as they were released BEFORE their NBA cards. Something refreshing looking at the player n their youth before their NBA career took hold.

1999 Collector's Edge Rookie Rage - Same can't be said if you're unlicensed for college!

WIlliams Ja (11).jpg

1998-99 Topps RC - I think I could have designed this card myself in Canva....and no, I don't really know what I'm doing, but this card is just soooo.......basic.

Williams Ja (10).jpg

1998-99 Topps Finest RC - To peel or not to peel? That is the question... They put the same kicks in the corner for all guards, but how cool would it be if they had a pic of hteir actual kicks instead?

Williams Ja (7).jpg

1998-99 Topps Stadium Club Chrome RC - This card looks really photoshopped for some reason, just wish they had a RC logo on there somewhere. Chrome finish is great, Pic does it no justice at all.
Williams Ja (9).jpg

1998-99 Flair Showcase Row 3 RC - Flair just does it better. Soooo good. Nothing wrong with the card or sleeve, so not sure what happened to his face!

Williams Ja (15).jpg

1998-99 Skybox Molten Metal RC - Card really suits the jersey and player, but stick a rookei logo on there and some sort of number on the jersey! Pic is messed up for some reason, IRL this card has a really clean look. All the text is holofoil for example...

Williams Ja (3).jpg

1998-99 Fleer Brilliants RC - Really nice looking set offering. but really needed an action shot instead of the portrait.

Williams Ja (5).jpg

1998-99 Skybox E-X Century RC - Just shut up and take my money! So pretty, but so condition sensitive.... shit pic though!

Williams Ja (2).jpg

....which is why I picked this up! Great grade for such a condition sensitive card.

The Other Stuff

1999-00 Skybox Metal -
Definitely a abse set worth consdiering for the chase....

Williams Ja (4).jpg

1999-00 Skybox Dominion GameDay 2K - All I think of when I see this card is all the hysteria about the Y2K computer scenario.... Quite a nice design with the complimentary team colours in the background.

Williams Ja (13).jpg

2000-01 Upper Deck - Lightning Strikes - A poor man's Scoring Kings. Has that chrome / metal type finish and the attention to the detail on the font type is top notch stuff.

Williams Ja (14).jpg

1999-00 Upper Deck HoloGrFX NBA 24-7 -
If bling is you thing, this here would be the grand-daddy of them all.... Another set chase contender... ..and another shit pic!

Williams Ja x 2.jpg

2000-01 Fleer Ultra - Thrillinium - Not so sure why I like these cards so much. Probably because they're subtle and classy, just like me... hah hah The holofoil accents really make the difference.

WIlliams Ja (8).jpg

The Scribble

2003-04 Flair Final Edition Autograph Collection /100 -
I really need to take this out of the old medievil screwdown holder...

Williams Ja (2).jpg

2017-18 Panini Cornerstones Elusive Ink /159 - First Panini era card so far!

Williams Ja.jpg

2017-18 Panini Cornerstones - Elusive Ink Bronze /75 - ..and the second offering in the all too familiar Panini parallel rainbow.

Well that's all for now, hope you enjoyed anoher trip down memory lane. Likes an comments always appreciated as are any photography tips! Es[ecially how to best avoid reflection if using a camera phone.

Great cards - he has quite a following from what I've seen - did you see when the Panini autos first came out how nuts the prices went for a while? Frenzy

What do you think about Lamelo Ball then - in the style of exciting PG's? I freaking love watching that guy play

nice!! i watched highlights of him literally a week ago on youtube then started searching for collectors and their cards!! Time to become a super collector of him mate!
