KD shoots 91% FT's compared to LeBron's 73.6%, those are telling numbers when you're play clutch-time. You should have those numbers up there as well to tell the full story.
Don't get me wrong - Lebron and Durant are clearly the better players and they single handedly put their teams in title contention and imo are probably ahead of Melo in the MVP stakes. I also think Melo is a bit of a soft player at times so I agree with you there but all I was trying to get at was he's tearing it up without an A grade side kick to distract some of the defensive attention.
Of the current crop of players LBJ is my favourite by far - definitely contributes all round and is a triple double threat everytime he steps on the court. When Norm listed those players I'm thinking most valuable to their team at the mid way point through the season - for example, without Harden the Rockets could have been a 30 win team this season. Clearly not a MVP candidate but arguable most integral to the team so far as is Melo.
Lebron period....you cant argue, yeah they have a slowing wade, bosh is a wimpy power forward who doesnt rebound, ray allen is a hundred years old and appears and disappears, then you have a bunch of scrubs, and they are still the best team in the league..without owning the best record, because come playoff time they will win and no one will stop them...lebron cant be stopped, he could score forty-fifty a night if he wanted too...but around 27 is pretty good when you get 8 rebound and 8 assists a night too...
durant would be my second, great year, great player, and him and westy make a great tandem...

In his last 4 games Lebron is shooting at 0.79 FG% whilst scoring over 30 in each of those games! He has made 37 of his last 47. And if you saw his passing v the Clips you wouldn't be arguing anymore.
Kobe on this list with 4 votes, really!? I know I'm a Kobe hater but Kobe doesn't even belong on this list let alone to have 4 votes.... lot of fanboyism going on in here!!
