So does that mean my Speedy Claxton Auto card worth 10 bucks is Super Rare!!!!! WOOOHOOO
So i've decided to send this seller a msg....
"Where in the beckett were you looking when you had your subtitle 'high Beckett Value' in mind"
The response was as i expected....
" Look for 1992 Topps Archive Rookie of Michael Jordan and you should find it. Good luck "
Hmmm
Anyways i'm not singling out this person it's just that i see it all the time and it just quietly sH*ts me as i'm a seller myself and its the deception thats annoying.
Sure some might say well if ppl are dumb enough to bid on it then it's their fault. I say it's not right, knowingly ripping ppl off.
I personaly dont think Hanizena is a real switched on collector, I mean he has a massive hoard of Jordan cards, Ive bought so many off him recently and not had a drama, but he just seems to be in it for a minute and a buck or 5!
The way I see it, if people aren't bright enough to do their own research these days, they deserve to pay stupid prices.
The seller's not wrong (but not correct) by saying it's a rookie card, as some could argue it's a first appearance on a Topps card for MJ. But it's far from "rare" and far from being an actual rookie card.
I almost got burnt once because I didnt do my research (not with this card), and was educated, since then, I've always done my research. Others should do the same.
Description is a little mis-leading, but the guy seems to be very honest IMO. I'll elaborate soon enough, but he has helped me greatly in this past week. The story will be in a mailday soon!
